Not a Racist Rant!!

Surely if they want to be surrounded by their "own" so to speak, they should stay in their country of origin ?

Not as simple as that. Many who people who emigrate from their nations do so for a better quality of life, which their home country cannot offer. It's why my grandparents came over in the 1950's. India was struggling economically and there was a poor quality of life. They, like many, came to the UK or went to the USA/Canada for a better/more economic lifestyle.

Most have hit on the head, that new immigrants will gravitate towards those who share the same culture where they can ease themselves into their new country without severing all ties to their old one.

The reason certain enthicitis group to togther in certain aread is simple, people want to live near their friends and family. Ilford is a wonderfull place, i lived in manor park up until about 10 years ago, when my folks moved away. Food there is second to none.

If we take ilford (Newham) as an example if you white then you are officially a ethnic minority there.

Has anyone on here considered going back to their native land? Giving how rubbish our economy is now.

Just curious.

The warehouse for the company I work for employed a lot of Poles. I would say the workforce in the warehouse (of about 150-200 staff) was about 30% Polish.

Since the downturn a lot have left and having spoken to one of the team managers in the warehouse pretty much all of them said it was because they were returning home.

Of course I have no official stats on this thats just a personal expereince.

Or, to put it another way: there are more non-whites than whites in Ilford, but the white British population is by far the largest of all the ethnic groups in Ilford.

Not really a minority though, are you? You're a... majority minority. WTF is the term.

Damnit.

You need to form a coalition.

To the OP: Go and read some human geography journals, i would give you links but my athens has expired.

The best answer to the OP so far gets an F (GCSE standard), which is pretty poor
