The main thing thats got me is that the retailer didn't email me about the situation. I phoned them 8 weeks after they rma'd the ram, then again on the 9th week. On the 10th week I was told they were still waiting for the ram to be returned and were waiting on a overdue delivery from taiwan and was told they would email as soon as the ram arrived.
Now after 12 weeks with still no reply I had to initiate things myself once again by phoning them and asking what was going on. 20 mins later I receive an email telling me I had been credited £25.71 which to me seems a bit dubious.
I am now waiting on a reply from Geil see what they have to say.
Not according to trading standards m8 I was told the retailers are the people who I have to deal with because the retailers are the people who I purchased the ram off not geil, no matter how old it is.
I will be phoning trading standards back later today, I just need to hear from the retailer to a reply to the mail I sent last night see if they will send me the ram back.
Now if in anyway they say I can't have the ram back or they say it's been misplaced is there anything I can do about it?
The main thing thats got me is that the retailer didn't email me about the situation.
Dear Sir
I have cancelled the credit note and made your item for collection, you can pick it up from our "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shop between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00.
get over it. you got 3 years out of it ffs
Sorry but £45 - £65 for shipping to taiwan? Wha o0
Theyre having a laugh mate, either pick the ram up or if they too far ask them to send them back to you insured for the full original purchase price.
RMA them to Geil direct which will cost far less than theyre stating

GeIL have a lifetime warranty .... I would use that as much as I could if I was in the same situation.
