Oh ok I didnt know you were a member of the justice league.

So far hes disowned his religion and his race, its whats known as a sell out. Sadly, what he fails to realise is his religion is beautiful as well as his culture. Very sad indeed.

Personal choice = win

Who cares what he/she/it/tarzan/James J did, at the end of the day if someone doesnt want to think a certain way, in this case religion, then why the hell should they?

lmao. I cant help who I'm attracted to. Your enviroment affects the way you turn out. Over the years I've grown out of all things asian because of the things I'm surrounded by.

Call me a sellout, I say I'm not afraid to be myself.

Oh and I havent disowned my religion, the "work around" is that a muslim is allowed to marry a christian or jewish girl.

Still I dont like the asian culture.

Its not the attraction as such, I can tell by your complete negative attitude that you were a sell out a mile off. The sad thing is that it really is your loss, I really doubt you have truly explored your religion and culture for yourself and instead of realising you are lucky you look at it as a curse? Meh, I dont really care just voicing my opinion ^^

Thats easy to reply to. Your not giving him another choice and looks like your forcing your opinion.

I can tell by your complete negative attitude that you were a sell out a mile off.

I think you're a sellout ~ no offence

How is that a sell out, but labelling him a sell out implies that having a skin colour have direct correlation to their religion. Are you saying if no indian should be Catholics or Christians? And that if any white people go to for arguement say Japan, and much prefer Japanese women to Enlgish women he too would be a "sell-out"?

By calling him a sell-out indirectly imply that Skin colour has direct link to religion and attraction to their own skin colour, which indirectly imply that you might be should i dare say it, a little racist.

What if you great gran-gran-gran-fathers are from Alaska, by not finding Eskimos attractive would that make you a "sell-out" ? Why should someone's origin be a factor or limitation to their choice or preference of partner?

You're quick to judge arent you.

I'm sorry but you say I havent truly explored my religion or culture?

I've read the Quran twice in arabic and once in english, I went to mosque since I was 5 years old, I've been to mecca, done Umra, I've spent countless hours discussing religion with molvi's.

Culture wise I've experienced both the eastern side of things having been to pakistan since I was a kid and the western side with these gangster wannabe kids and the whole drum n bass phase. Done the weddings, been around the people. Half my family is from pakistan and the other half born here. So I know both sides, I've got soo many cousins, we use to have constant gatherings at my house for any occassion we could think of. My best friend (my cousin) is asian.

Dont judge me. I know the asian culture through and through. And you know what I grew out of it. It is not me. I'm my own man and I'm not defined by societies ways. You are completely narrow minded to think I should stick to something like the asian culture. Like I cant enjoy being me? Enjoy rock music, shave my head, have interests in bodybuilding and other activities that asians stereotypically arent meant to enjoy.

Get a clue.

Oh yeah ~ ray I knew he was asian/muslim I think thats where you went off.

You can read the quran 100000000 times, it doesnt mean anything until you understand the meaning for yourself and I sincerely doubt you do.

You stated me as narrow minded yet isnt saying "side with these gangster wannabe kids " a stereo type....?
You have it all wrong, exploring religion and culture is not about being defined by socities ways, its a heritage you explore to find out more. There is nothing in the asian culture to stop you shaving your head, listening to music and body building, you are thinking of lads you hang out with, lads in your local area. Infact lol, I know a fair few asians who are ripped with muscles, listen to music and so on, not to forget all the successful businessmen and women as well. I won't say no more, as you pretty much made your mind up about it ~ I just find it a sad thing. This also doesnt apply to one race or religion, its sad for anyone to disown their culture before properly, I focus on PROPERLY exploring it.

Just because someone is born into something doesnt mean its for them.

Its an opinion not a judgement, if I was to judge I would say you are a bad person, you are this, that, etc. A sell out is someone who basically dumps their own culture and that is an opinion. Get that round your brain cells please.

I apologise for any offence, it wasnt my intention. I sleep now, take care...

You're assuming that because he has disowned the culture/religion so to speak, he mustn't have explored it. Is it not possible that he has explored it and it just isn't for him?

Once people realise that religion is ultimately empty, the better life they can have.

I chose to be an atheist because I don't want to read the bible, visit church, etc. I would much rather get on with more fun, meaningful things in life.

There is nothing wrong with fasting or praying in a mosque every day but if people don't want to do it then it's not that they haven't explored it, but that they see other things as having a higher priority. And good on them i say.

errr *quote* "if I was to judge I would say you are a bad person, you are this, that, etc." + "you're a sell out" *quote*

Seems my brain cells are doing just fine thanks

lol zain how old are you?

You just dont get it. More people are going to disagree with you than agree. You tell me what I have left to explore? Cause to be honest I think I've seen practically everything to do with the asian culture. I mean a kid who grows up in an asian home surrounded by asian relatives seems to experience it all dont they? And most will keep some of that culture with them throughout life. Enjoying the music, the movies, the weddings, the clothing. But to be honest I no longer enjoy any of that. Its all too old fashioned and cheesy for me.

Asian culture and Islam dont have to go hand in hand. And really why should I be forced to live a certain way? I'm forced to because I was born into the asian culture? Just seems a bit off to me, why cant a person explore LIFE and find what works for them. Your remarks are somewhat racist I think because you believe a person born into a culture should appreciate it without question and stick to it.

I'm not sorry that I dont like the asian culture. It wasnt for me. I'm sure I'll have to endure the music, the movies, the clothing, the weddings and so on for the rest of my life because my relatives are into it, but I'll stick to what I enjoy, in 5 years it maybe something completely different. I dont see the need to be set in my ways.

You are basically forcing this man a culture that he never grew up in, now do you get what i mean? He does not HAVE TO believe in a certain religion just because his forefathers did, do you get that?

Skin colour, religion and taste in woman does not go hand in hand.

It's his choice, not yours.

What a patronising thing to say. Can you see that for yourself? Who are you to TELL him what he does or doesn't understand? Who are you condescend and look down on him?? As for dumping his culture, in this day and age, since when must culture be attached to race? One's culture is determined by their environment, by their experiences, by their choices. How about you get that round your brain cells, please.
