Some folk have made a comparison with the late amy winehouse, which is fair up to a point, but I think this girl has a much better voice. Add the old swing jazz vocal overtones to a more modern sound and you have something that stands out from the crowd in a goosebumpy way for me.
I also like how many of her live performances are subtly different each time - the way a performer experiments with the material to keep it interesting instead of trotting out the same hackneyed play-throughs says a lot about how they enjoy the music and its evolution.
