Got to see Om a few years back in Shoreditch, was great. Advaitic Songs is my favourite of theirs.

Trying to find something particular but stumbled on this madness:

Heard "A Slight Grip, A Gentle Hold (Pt. I)" on a mix, had to stop what I was doing to check the tracklist and find out who it was. Found the album on Youtube. Now trying to source a physical copy. Two copies on Discogs. €27 and €40. And that's before postage is added on. Taking the mick... Modern classical / ambient / experimental.

 
Was just listening to this on youtube, I love field report and think this is a great song and video


at the end it auto played to this which was a nice surprise I've never heard the Decemberists before and thought this was rather good!

 
I always find myself coming back to this track, shame it's never had a commercial release it really resonates with modern society for me.
 
Enjoying Nostalgia Friday with a couple of 90's near misses!

Love this first track, still can't believe the record company ditched them after their debut album was finished and pressed without ever releasing it!


This one is slightly more odd they were first act on when I saw muse open for feeder at rock city so I've always had a soft spot for them! This was the lead single from their second album which again a record company exec decided to can after it was recorded and mastered!
