NR200 Owner's Thread

It’s crazy how hard it is to source components at the moment. One day I’ll get a 3080 but can’t see it being before February now.
I've has such a crazy day. I have a gigabyte auros extreme coming end of Jan which was just bordering on too big for the case. Then today an expensive 3060ti auros popped up and I convinced myself saving abit of money vs 3080, easier build and better thermal was probably not a bad call, so grabbed the 3060ti and cancelled the 3080. Then a cheaper 3060 popped up and I ended up getting that instead. Was regretting on cancelling the 3080 when a zotac halo 3080 became available so I ended up with a card that's coming this weekend instead of end of Jan. All in the space of 20mins.

I needed a cold shower after that.

damn! I’ve struggled to get a single card. Let alone 3 :D. How do you find them in stock??

At the expense of additional noise, it has a higher RPM fan which is material on an air cooler.

I found the Scythe Kaze Flex Slim 1800RPM to be a great performer, it gets loud under constant load but I thought it was quieter than some other fans I've tried recently to my ears.

I've replaced the standard fan with an Arctic P12 now and it is whisper quiet and performs amazingly for the size of the cooler

From a well known etailer. They do random drops now and then but it's exceptionally hard to time. There's also a 10% premium though but still less outrageous than fleabay.

I'm now hoping they refund me before the wife sees 3k worth of spending on the card

good luck with that. You might want to try changing the password for online banking :D

Delivery date today! Very excited. So far I had two deliveries including one giant box of star wars Lego which sounded rather like a smashed case when picked up (phew).

Come on DPD... Don't do this to me.

Case hasn't arrived. More worrying is that a whole bunch of terrible reviews on the retailer just came up in the last few days. All to do with delayed delivery. Looks like I'm not the only one that didn't realized they are dispatching from Czech Republic. Spare a thought on one guy that has a 3090 stuck somewhere between London and Nehvizdy

My replacement case arrived today. All in one piece! DPD driver commented on the turnarounnd speed as he only delivered the broken one on Sunday, picked it up yesterday and delivered the replacement today.

Still awaiting anywhere with a PSU or 5600x, and GPU for that matter :p

Silverstone Sfx 1000w is available from 21st Dec from some competitiors

Did you not get a tracking number? :(

For bottom fans you just remove the magnet thingy and screw it through those vents and put the magnet thingy back.

I need some help/hints for cpu cooler, some people on reddit mentioned i should just flip the cooler and have this current fan intake. But i don't understand what's different in flipping the whole cooler itself compared to just reattaching the fan on the back and make it intake?

Ah yes, I see how they fit in now. Have you noticed any improvements to temperatures using bottom fans as well as top fans? I’m wondering if the extra noise will be worth it or not?

Some coolers are directional. Or so they claim. Like my H7 has this special fin design that claims to reduce turbulence/noise and increase heat dissipation. So rather than ignore that I flipped the whole heatsink when using it as an intake. Some coolers though...it doesnt matter. Could literally just flip the fan to intake instead of exhaust from what I've seen.

So I have a 5900x with a Cryorig H7 quad lumi (intake with stock cryorig qf120 balance) and EVGA FTW3 3080 in a NR200P and was considering a 120mm AIO to mount on the rear. Have (2) NF-A12x25 in the top in exhaust. Currently waiting for a 3rd NF-A12 to try on the CPU Cooler to see if that helps with the sound signature and temps.

Temps while playing CP2077 on 1440p ultra, the CPU avg is 76-78 with peaks at 82. GPU stays in the 68-72 range. The fan curve in the Asus Bios is annoying in which it wont let me change the last adjustment point. It basically just says FAN = 100% when CPU is at 75°c or greater. So my fans are on at full blast basically when playing this game. The 5600x I had stayed in the 70-73°c range. Sure temps are in range, but its more of trying to avoid 100% fan speed.

Just didn't know how I could get my 5900x temps down short of going 240/280mm AIO on the side and lose the pretty TG panel.
