NR200 Owner's Thread

I've got two up top, just can't fit any at the bottom :(

Where's your build have you posted it yet!?

man that's a bummer, can you take a picture from above to see where the problem is with the AIO?

Sorry, I couldn't take a picture as it wasn't possible to secure it for a second.
My main concern was the rad side of the tube which pushed against the psu cage. I was a bit afraid that it would snap if I'm pushing it too hard.
So on second thought even with slim fans I wouldn't try to fit..

For this case you really need an AIO with flexible tubes and a pump with side joints and not coming out on the top

you have the "old" h115i right? the one with the tubbing coming straight from the pump

For anyone looking at air coolers with the TG panel it looks like the alpenfohn Brocken Eco Advance will fit

Cheap as chips too
Missed this post yesterday. Looks like it could be a good option. Thinking I might stick with air-cooling unless I decide I can live without the window as it looks like a radiator in the top is an absolute no go even with slim rad+fans. It would make contact with the memory modules and the tubing runs would be a pain at best. I don't like the vertical GPU look with 240mm radiator underneath, and I don't think a custom loop using a single 240mm radiator cooling cpu+gfx would cope unless I cherry-picked cool running hardware.

Redone cabling looks good Relentless, shame the card is a bit too chunky for the fans underneath. Suspect it will be fine though, I'm not getting any temperature issues on my 1070 without the fans below it. Although think I'll be doing a test run of squeezing some fans there for comparison later.

Yeah the card performs fine, I'm concerned about the dust ingress due to no intakes at the moment

I'm tempted by that alpenfohn cooler for the price, the wraith Prism is just too loud but kind of want the NH-U9S Chromax when it's released too but can't decide on which will perform better with the alpenfohn being 120mm and the NH-U9S being 92mm but I'll have two fans on it

I'd have thought that the majority of the air being brought into the case would be from the filter side and bottom panels, so wouldn't expect dust ingress to be too big an issue.

Not sure which would perform better between the Alpenfohn and the Noctua, I'd guess close enough to make little difference really. Deciding factor would no doubt be whether that slightly more compact Noctua is worth paying twice as much!

Had a play with a couple of Raijintek Aeolus Beta Low Profile fans, which are only 13mm high, to see how they fit at the bottom of the case. Need to fit a fan guard and the filter back but it looks like they fit a alright under the case. I just need to source a XSPC TX240 Ultra Thin rad in white but like a lot of stock no one has any.

Good review so apparently one fan at the top is good enough to cool the case and having two fans at the bottom didn't do anything to cool the GPU.

Yeah I suppose the GPU pulls enough air through the base of the case and doesn't need fans to assist it

I'm still going to fit fans down there, I'm determined to now that I've paid for them and their just in a box :)

Will have to wait until the new GPUs come out though

Great review but tad confused, review shows the 158mm (official spec is 159mm) Hyper 212 EVO fits with both vent & TG panel, but 158mm NH-U12a/s and 155mm Fuma 2 will only fit under vent panel not the TG panel...

Yeah I noticed that, I think it's a mistake he doesn't actually show it fitted with the TG panel or attempting to fit where Tech Testers did and clearly show it doesn't fit

He also mentioned that both versions of the case come with the 92mm fan. I dunno about you guys, but I didn't get a 92mm fan with mine!

How well does your GPU perform without the shroud and the fans on the bottom of the case versus strapped to the heatsink? Any issues? I am eager to replace the GPU fans because they are the loudest component in my build.

Unsure if you have seen this, very interesting results.
