NR200 Owner's Thread

I want minimum 650w but would prefer 750w

I'll have another look today, I wouldn't fit an ATX PSU even if it takes one it'll take up too much room

It takes SFX and SFX-L.
As i'm sure you are aware, PSU's are in short supply. There has been massive demand during the Pandemic and as of yet, production capacity has not caught up.

Interesting that the dimensions posted above on the box are (L x W x H) 376 x 185 x 292

But on the OCUK page it states Dimensions (L x W x H) - 360 x 185 x 274mm

Fair difference in length there when you have a shallow desk like me, height I dont care about but I wonder what the true length is I hope the OCUK page is correct but I'm leaning toward it being an error maybe?
I have updated the listing to include Dimensions with Protrusions to avoid any confusion.

Thank you

Yeah I know it's not ATX just that someone mentioned a bracket that CM hinted at for ATX but I wouldn't want to use it

I've just placed a pre order for the white one

I don't suppose you know when you expect stock of the seasonic 650 or the Corsair 750 SFX PSU?

Seasonic I can't comment on as I don't manage the brand.

Corsair I do look after though. Which 750W psu were you looking for?

I thought as much. Currently none in the UK at any of our Suppliers. Corsair themselves have none in their European Hub.
I wince when I have to buy them in. As soon as Corona hit, our costs jumped up massively on PSU :/

Edit - Trying to source what I can. Some of the below PSU's are on Order.

Fair enough, potentially a long wait ahead then? I think I've been a little hasty ordering the case if I can't get a PSU for it :(

Edit - just spotted your edit for the PSU above, sorry I'm fussy and a 92mm isn't ideal for me, I've not read the best things about Silverstone SFX PSU but I'll have another read just to make sure

In all honesty I think I've jumped the gun ordering the case and now considering cancelling it because can't get the decent PSUs and there's no point having a case lying around that I can't build in, the whole situation is crap never had this problem before

Some of Silverstone's older SFX PSUs are questionable by today's standards. More recent ones have been decent. SX700-PT is pretty good (just not that popular, because Corsair's SF750 is better and was cheaper).

Going to need SFX-L if you want a 120mm fan.

I've got back orders out for stock on PSU's. As soon as anything is available we get it.
It is a crap situation at the minute :/

There are some Be Quiet PSU's on the way which I would expect to see around the end of the month/begining of August.

What do you use in your ncase and what do you think of it?

The only good unit I could get my hands on at a reasonable price :p

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/silv...old-fully-modular-power-supply-ca-405-sv.html

Had a choice of that at £75, or the Be Quiet! 600W SFX-L at £100. Had a Corsair CX450M before, so the Silverstone was a decent enough upgrade.

Ideally I would have bought an SFX unit, as some of the smaller cases have issues with SFX-L (e.g. you can't use the AIO in the Dan A4, can't use a 240mm radiator in the FormD T1). But good ones are scarce and expensive right now. Six months ago, the SF600 Platinum was on offer for less than £100, and the EVGA GM650 was £80

Ok thanks, I'll think about it from now until lunch time but I think I'm going to raise a webnote to cancel the case order and just wait until all this gets back to normal, really CBA struggling to buy over priced parts

I've not noticed what if any issues there will be with an SFXL unit in this case either so might be worth waiting for reviews on that anyway

Looks a nice case with a great price for the available features. Was initially disapointed with it being Steel rather than Aluminium - but that's the trade off with the price I guess. Looks that all the external panels are steel and that plastic might only be getting used for the feet and some internal clips, I can deal with that!
Think this has potentially just taken the top spot for my next case! Compact but still room for watercooling fun!

Cancelled my pre order, the case looks great on that video but I'll hold fire until there is better part availability at a more reasonable price

Saying that, 3 exhausts and no intake = dust haven so might have dodged a bullet tbh

Ok now i am excited, was thinking of going with the Nzxt H1, but i think this is the case i shall be doing a build in, air cooled of course, will wait a bit until Psu's are back in stick before i take the plunge.

No reason you can't use any of the exhausts as intakes or vice versa. I'm thinking I'd have intake on the bottom, out at the top and back - with a 240mm radiator in the top. There's mesh dust filters on all bar the rear fan mount according to the Coolermaster site. Granted it looks to be pretty open mesh so won't deal with small dust particles, but I guess you can put an extra filter in the gap between the mesh and the chassis if you wanted.
