Its around 43c idle using core temp with my Thermalright Ultra 120 with 1.5v i think... im gonna lap my cpu and cooler tonight sometime so that might take the temps down a little.

These B stepping Conroe's get very toasty tho.

Oh and the ambient is very warm...and no aircon.

My cpu is actually running @ 4.1ghz m8 not 4.6ghz. The 8x multi is messing with how nuclearus reads the cpu speed.

Yeah mine did that too... was showing 4Ghz when i was at 3.6Ghz.

Still need to lap my CPU and Cooler... Think i will do it tomoz now as i'll probably **** it up since ive had a beerio... LOL

A64 3500+ Winny : DFi ULTRA-D : 2GB DDR400 (Mildly OC'd, I'll crank it later )
I dug out an A-XP 2600+ ,an A-XP T-Bird (800mhz or 1ghz not sure) and a 1Ghz Pentium......so I'll bench them later tonight.

Best I can do at the moment without pushing my chip any further, might try running it again at 3.2Ghz though.

It's just the HTx is still dropped from when I had that rig mate. I left it on 3x so as to avoid having to drop it when I up the CPU FSB.

I've benched with the HTT bus at 550mhz to 1250mhz and saw no difference.

id like to vote, most energy efficient benchmark on ocuk forums given this time of carbon concern.

89w 2200 clawhammer running .8v @ 800 mhz = 8.5w

thats 158 marks/watt
vs
about 42 marks/watt at full power

desktop is getting about 50 marks/watt

Well I'm finally back up and running with my new board after this test killed my P5B! Here are my results from my P5B...

I haven't got around to overclocking with this new P35 board yet but hopefully it should be just as good!

Time to challenge for the best dual core.. Without destroying my board this time!
