Right I've booked 
P&O, out from Dover on May 24th at 10:50, returning from Calais on May 29th at 16:55.
Price has already gone up a fiver on the return leg, from £35 to £40 making £85 in total now rather than £80. In light of this I thought it was better to take the plunge sooner rather than later in case the prices go up any more or the cheaper crossings fill up.
That's crossing and hotel booked, the countdown has begun! \o/
