Nvidia 3060 release date and time

You really think any retailer is going to sell these anywhere bear RRP on their own sites? Nah they are going on their dodgy ebay accounts for 600 plus!

I've a 10 gallon barrel of purest Liquid Scorn i'm going to liberally pour on people who take it in the ass for one of these cards.

Just to get a bit of perspective on the situation - ALL the online review sites, you know Toms/Anand/Guru/Kit/Tech/Hex said consumers would benefit from the Ampere/Navi competition later in 2020.
If those guys couldn't see this sh*tstorm coming who could?

rtx 2060super performance with 4gb more Vram! just not worth it even at MSRP, these will go for £500 and up I , for poor performance (albeit in synthetic benchies) when compared to previous gen cards.
Another fail from Ngreedia

It's actually matching 2070 performance

Not according to the "Good old gamer" it isn't

whos that? i suppose its semantics anyway, the 2060 super and 2070 are nearly identical in performance

Its quite interesting to see such a large gap between the 3060 and 3060ti, the ti is nearly 30% faster. I wonder if Nvidia's mining nerfs is having an unintended consequence for gaming? The MSRP for the 3060 is just 20% lower than the 3060ti, yet its 30% slower than the ti. This makes the 3060ti a much better buy than the 3060

The desktop RTX3060 has less shaders than the laptop one even though its the same GPU core!

It seems the 3060 is about to permorm like the 2060 super... as expected.

This card should have been named 3050 or 3050Ti instead... it is way too expensive, even at RRP... better not to talk about current asked prices really.

None of this matters, of course, as you can't even buy one really.

Exactly the laptop chip should have been in the 12GB desktop cards especially when you consider they want £300 for it. With this 3060 just being a 6GB card for around the £200 mark. you get the feeling Nvidia is trying to con it`s customers.

They gone now, but on rainforest for ages. Discord Partalert community alerts, you will never snag one just browsing everyday its impossible. I once by chance loaded up indian takeaway to see some 3060ti's in stock but you will never get through checkout on there even if by some miracle you get it in your basket.

I was tempted to try and get a 3060 FE for 299 but then I remembered the 2060 Super was selling for a similar price over a year ago with identical performance. Where`s the progress? I`ll wait to see what AMD releases.

Come autumn you will see this card be released with the higher shader count of the laptop part and named the RTX 3060 12GB Super. :p
