Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

Alphacool and Bykski have both posted blocks up for show, no pricing yet though etc due to nda.

Will be getting one of these, just depends on performance of each block and aesthetics of course. So it's gonna be a founders edition card for me.

ah nice thanks very much, are you concerned at all at how difficult nvidia might make it to dismantle the cooling solution they have?

I have never bought FE before how are Nvidia with warranty claims if the cards had its cooling solution removed (and replaced I’d assume)?

That’s unexpected, a joint block for 80-90, i though 90 pub was much bigger and this different. Also, won’t the acrylic at the end just be dangling in thin air?

Ah only just caught up with this, that’s not great news, I was really hoping they would have something “on the cards” (dammit can you tell my second baby’s due soon?), these NDAs need to be lifted so we can see the blocks on the cards.

I think I still want an FE card, there’s a chance I’d go back to air at some point and I like the design. Also the smaller pcb might work if I downsize cases too but keep watercooling. Just need some clarity on fe blocks. :D

So reference pcb is higher than pci slots, even though FE isn’t, **** you Nvidia, I don’t want to be getting too close to the glass on my O11 :( here’s hoping for lots of FE blocks soon.

Looking through the ek Facebook comments on release day, it looks like they do plan on making an FE block. So I think I’m in on FE, just custom cables to do now!

Im hoping for more official FE block announcements before the 17th. I want FE but what happens if they all come out and say we tried, but there’s some issue with mounting a block on it.... I suppose sell it and buy a supported card is the answer.

I do like it tbh but gonna wait and see what else is available, these are out of stock from ezmodders already! EDIT: I see its back in stock again? How much was shipping for you?

Just ordered a custom RTX Mini 12pin connector for the FE card, direct from psu to gpu so no extensions. See how it goes... Need more announcements for FE blocks, its killing me!

where did you order from?

What if glue is used in construction as prev FE cards?

What if you scratch trying to get the doors open for the screws and you need to RMA what does Nvidia think?

The FE looks great and will be interesting to see it's thermals. I'm just not convinced it's the most straightforward way to get a GPU under water.

Lets wait for the GN tear down, any glue and I’ll do the same, but this doesn’t look like a ‘glued’ product it looks well engineered and thought through.

My main gripe with ek stuff is that they never quite get the EK badge perfect. Other than that I don’t know what you guys are fussing about, there stuff looks similar but that’s kind of a good thing if you want your blocks to vaguely match, maybe your onto something though, they could change style with every release forcing you to buy all new blocks every time you upgrade one component....

Thing with this EK block on an FE card, it's just gonna look like a tiny weiner GPU in your PC. I like the look of the full length PCB with a full block on it, seems meaty/powerful and getting more for you money.

Just me?

Next thing to contend with is are FE cores going to perform much better?

Cough over compensating cough,

is it just that you want people to know how much you must have spent on a graphics card because of how fat it is?

Hey I re read this and want to say sorry I didn’t mean to come off this much of a ****. I was just messing around and everyone has their own style :)

@BluZiff are you using a EK FLT 120 still? with the pump mount?

I impulse bought the PCMR O11d, then filled it with two 360 PE rads and the FLT 360 with the built in d5. Just waiting in this card to finish it, and probably replace the extensions with a set of custom cables for my new PSU at Christmas :)

I have given up worrying about getting it soon, it’s outside of my control besides being ready when the time comes. Getting the block is a secondary priority
