I have yes. Most of the time took me to figure out how to unplug this stupid led cable from 3080fe as the few videos available don't really show it. Other than this it was quick.
With block to be honest there are only few screws so it was very easy in terms of assembling. What was time consuming was cutting thermal pads into small pieces, for front and back of card. So in general not difficult but takes some time. Manual also doesn't say anything about unscrewing IO bracket from block, but you have to do it to put the card in.
I'll try to plug it in just with soft tubing today after work to see if it's all working, contact, temps etc.
Mine took about the same time. Well 1 day and 1.5 hours as I didn't have the screwdriver for the Torx screws on the back.
That little led cable is the worst, in the GN teardown he didn't make it clear that you have to slide the metal plate back then lift the cable up.
Would a d5 pump top with included mount do the job, I have one in mm for sale.did you get the D5 pump mount in the end? I tried to get a rubber gasket from EK and they wanted £14 in postage for what would have fitted in an envelope.
My watercool heatkiller V block has landed in the UK, however got slapped with a £50 duty and tax fee! What was a reasonable £220 inc delivery is now upto £270 . Thought i'd manage to skip the changes in the European law buying it before the new year but alas it didn't ship till the 19th of January .
