yes and no, seen a few articles showing the 3080 isn't reaching its potential, happy with my 2080ti for now but if/when games drivers get sorted out...

Certainly a worthy upgrade from my 1080ti - just need to find one now.
Surely at this point if you haven't already bagged one it's worth waiting a month to see what AMD has in the bag? Even more so given you are on a 1080Ti which is still not half bad, you could probably chug along on that quite happily for another month.
early November anyway so I'm just ignoring VR gaming until then so I can wow myself with the new kit all at once
