NVIDIA 4000 Series

Mine isn't blurry with DLSS. Apparently it can look bad if you leave on depth of field, motion blur and film grain, but I had all of these disabled anyway as they degrade the image quality. It can also look bad if you're using DLSS at lower resolutions because it was really designed for 4K screens. I have a 4070 Ti which is no slouch in this game beating a 3090 Ti by 9.4%, but even with all settings on low it wouldn't be enough to keep the 1% lows around 120. I have most settings on low except for textures, shadows, and a few other things which have a minimal impact on FPS.

I think the prob with DLSS in MW2 isn't the blur from DLSS itself but that it blocks the CAS sharpening option in the game. Maybe post a screenshot or two as I'm curious how it looks as I play at 4K 116fps (reflex cap) myself and find the game looks rather soft without CAS :)

Nah, plenny of shooters people turn foliage down to minimum, shadows, anything to make movement easier to see / reduce cover. Then again you don't play MMO shooters for the gfx if you wanna git gud.
Ahh, I meant me. That's the only one I play anyway. But yeah, people often request videos of X competitive FPS game at low settings.

Graphics sell games, graphics ruin K/D ratio. The graphics are there to please the casuals; the hardcore gamers turn all that stuff off
It's pointless setting everything to low just for the sake of it though. Some settings like very low textures and shadows make MW2 look drastically worse while offering little to no performance benefit.

Very true, when I played Destiny 2 competitively for a fairly long while I turned everything to its lowest or off if possible. I don't care if someone's shadow looks more accurate or if my gun has slightly higher textures... gimme frames and lower latency!

The RTX4060 series only has PCI-E 8X with 8GB of VRAM:

I like to see how these will perform on PCI-E 3.0 systems like mine(B450 motherboard). This is why I would only buy a PCI-E 5.0 system now, because it is quite clear that if things don't change an RTX6060/RX8600XT will be PCI-E 5.0 8X.

Shouldn't be allowed.

Really shouldn't be allowed in a competitive shooters, if some has foliage up to the max that's so dense where you can hide in plain sight and some have it close to off and you don't know who running what it's pretty close to built in cheating as far as I'm concerned. Someone may hide in foliage thinking no one can see me but really you may as well be standing out in the open with a big target on your head because that person has disabled foliage.

Draw distance too, turn it down and it won't render things in the distance. GAmes do patch these out in the end in the form of fairness, but even pro gamers have been caught cheating using proper hax like wire frames of opponents etc.

People want to be gud, but like bodybuilding - people will always want the shortcuts to success.

Very very rarely in insurgency sandstorm have I seen cheats. One recently and we called him out, they soon left, when you've had 1000hrs + in a game, you know, can feel when somethings off. Guy with a sniper rifle in CQC, 1 shot kills, snap to target most likely judging by their insane k/d via headshot everytime.

CAn see why cheats do it as those with high rankings/experience get called sad by other new players who just arent as good, even pointing out it's more to do with map knowledge than fps shooter skill, it's this type of gamer who is entitled to be good, like many things today - it's an entitlement - nothing to do with practice or hard work.

The RTX3050 had 8GB!

LMAO, the entry level bar for NV now is so low you'd have to limbo to get under it!

:D

It appears that the Nvidia machine is gearing up for several launches in the next few months, starting with the RTX 4070 which should launch on April 13th, the RTX 4060 Ti coming at end of May, and the 4050 in June.

Plus info about ram and cores

Apparently the 4060 and 4050 have been codenamed "Maris Piper" and "King Edward".
