NVIDIA 5000 SERIES - ***NO COMPETITOR HINTING***

Just reported several 5090s on ebay where people are literally selling a piece of paper. doesn't say this until you read the description, yet apparently this doesn't go against the terms and conditions... wtf ebay??
Last count there were at least 20 on there all above 2 grand and listed as graphics cards, not photos.
Good. Hope some scalper with a bot ends up with a dozen and has to fashion the cardboard into his new home.

Did you read the description though, they were only listed to get back at the scalpers and bots, clearly stated do not buy if you are a human. Quite liked the idea myself

My 5090 has just changed to awaiting picking and the block don't release until 15/03 :D

Same here. I still can't believe I managed to get one. I had almost given up. I didn't even do any crazy page refreshing.

EDIT: I completed checkout just after 1500.
EDIT 2: Actually that was when I saved the order screen grab, I think it must have been earlier. I didn't get the email confirmation immediately so can't remember the exact time.

Just Pre ordered an Astrul, £2700... was eyeing up the TUF but as its just £120 difference between them jut went with the better card . This upgrade has cost me £1000 all in as i sold my 4090 for £1700 which was the price i originally paid for it .
I was looking forward to our drive up north together. Very disappointed now. (Enjoy the card, Sir)

I just got order confirmation for a Zotac Solid 5090 for £2111.48 total. 2-12 week lead time, but I'm just happy to be out of the race.
Same, got my confirm as well.

That said, that vendor is absolutely notorious for saying 2-12 weeks and it never actually arrives (this is actually the standard for them, in my xp).

Looks like the FE supplier was actually selling FE cards at their in-person event despite their emails stating only AIB cards would be available. Pic reposted on the Nvidia Geforce UK twitter account (can't link as competitor named).

OcUK haven't had any 5090 to sell from what we can gather - all products have remained at their £25000 placeholder price.

Seems even competitors haven't had any stock which is insane for a launch day. 5080s still in stock with you though

But they could allow us to pre order them anyway, and they would save us and them from this constant refreshing.

The post I was quoting was one referring to the FE cards, no preorders on those. For third party cards you'll get that option at some point.
