NVIDIA 5000 SERIES - ***NO COMPETITOR HINTING***

i'll be honest

Generally OCUK do decent prices, my gaming chair broke, bought a noble for £100 off, Needed a PSU, got a 1200 watt PSU for a very decent price

But on new GPU releases, ive notice OCUK prices seem considerably higher than their direct competitors, and these are generally about £100 to £200 more, yeah seems like they like a bit of uplift on profit margins, which I get, if I had a business then I might do the same if a product is in demand

The upper echelons need to buy their Rolexes and drive their Bentleys and pay their monthly £6000 mortgage payments
I had to RMA my 5600X and it was painless and they got me one in a few days. And given that stock issues at release I was impressed. Another company, who I bought a PSU from, were obtuse at best when it blew up.

Currently in the US where the launch was a failure - how has it been back home? what are 5090 prices like? For some reason can’t access the ocuk retail site

OcUK haven't had any 5090 to sell from what we can gather - all products have remained at their £25000 placeholder price

OCUK had 4090s in stock last summer for £1500, madness that people are paying this for a 5080.

Retailers are drip feeding 5080s at absurd prices (1,799 is almost double MSRP!) just to see how much money desperate fools will part with at best, an 'upper-mid' card.
That is Madness its 7% faster than the 4080s at 1440p

Heres me thinking the 5080 was supposed to be £200 cheaper than the 4080 launched at but looks like it was the same price all along.

Just reported several 5090s on ebay where people are literally selling a piece of paper. doesn't say this until you read the description, yet apparently this doesn't go against the terms and conditions... wtf ebay??
Last count there were at least 20 on there all above 2 grand and listed as graphics cards, not photos.

Some of us dont mind waiting whatever it takes. Just let us pre order the 5090, even if it's going to take months for the order to be filled up. They still show up at £25k and out of stock. Put us in some queue and that's it. As it stands right now, I can't even preorder them.
