NVIDIA 5000 SERIES - ***NO COMPETITOR HINTING***

Looking at sold listings, people are actually buying these from scalpers for between £3500-4000. Can't get my head around people willing to pay £4k for something that someone else just bought for £2k (probably using a bot). Are some people that impatient/desperate?

Didn't put in an order after seeing how abysmal 5080 reviews were, I think am waiting it out until 5080 Ti which will inevitably come in a few months.

No, they are not in my xp and from others' experiences I've seen in launches. They'll take your order, charge you, send confirmation, update status to "awaiting picking" (obviously to keep you from cancelling). Then, it will sit in same status for weeks until you cancel. You can't trust them untill it's literally been shipped with tracking.

If you wait long enough, they'll even try to upsell you to a much pricier model -- happened twice to me and, if you read elsewhere, this is stsndard practice. There's a reason people try to buy OCUK.
