Gamers Nexus, TechPowerUp, Hardware Canucks, Hardware Unboxed, Paul's Hardware. Ironically, Notebookcheck has very solid GPU reviews, but often not on launch days.Where is the best place to read decent reviews when they go live later?
Yeah I think so too, not double, but £200 mark up.5090 gonna be expensive.
Lack of stock gonna shot price to maybe even double the price first few months
But since when does resale value matter so much when one just smashes their 3090 with a hammer and the other just says hell with it just spend £1600 or more on a GPU like it was normal?
This is why I am finding all these posts hilarious
Anyway. Enough of that. I will move on
Eh... Guru3D is known to equivocate and rate up bad products. Also, I find the depth of the analysis rather mid even for early 2000s.Techpowerup, Guru3d
I can recommend purepc.pl. i find them one of the best. Easily understandable with translator - they are one of the only sites left that take proper care in finding gpu-bound test locations and also supply saves where possible to test for yourself.Gamers Nexus, TechPowerUp, Hardware Canucks, Hardware Unboxed, Paul's Hardware. There are also a few non-english languages ones e.g. Germany, Romania, France I trust. I steer clear of others as a lot are now essentiallh pay-for-review at the end of the day.
You just know it's going to be next to impossible to get a 5080. No one in their right mind is going to pay over £2k for a GPU just to game with and with the 5080 seeming like a bargain in comparison it's going to be massively in demand to anyone not already using a 4090 or 4080/super. Completely kills any sort of excitement for me.
Well its ~30% increase in raster for about 25% increase in price, so very slightly better valueYeah and +30% raster for +£400 is not a good deal especially when you consider the 3090 to 4090 jump for +$100.
I believe today is the day yes!Reviews are up later today aren't they? Be interesting to see how the 5000 series performs.

AMAZING. LETS GO!!! COME ON NVIDIA!!!they moved it to today 2pm.
What’s funny is that people are comparing the price of the 4090 FE in nvidia store to the Third party 2.3k version of the 5090 when the 4090 third party versions were also 200-300 bucks more then teh 4090 FE …..Not when they are pre scalped it isn’t. At this point trying to argue a 5090 is going to be better price/perf than a 4090 as some sort of “bonus”, is like arguing a punch in the face is better than a kick in the balls.
At least if anyone is going to buy a 5090 for £2,500, just own it.
