NVIDIA 780 Ti Announced (18/10/13)

This review has a whole load of benches done with an overclocked titan vs R 290x........;)

Or I guessing the Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan (Max) scores are overclocked titan scores...

Great find and great to see so many games tested at different resolutions.

So Titan leading all the way up to 1600P with the majority of games going in favor of the Titan and a fair share between an overclocked Titan/290X at 5760x1080. Good to see that the 4GB is enough VRAM to play Crysis 3 and shows that Titan's cache at that resolution :)

They will release the 780Ti with clocks that will beat the 290X at stock, so easily a comfortable win on performance but price is the key for a lot of buyers.....

Actually they didn't overclock the GTX Titan !
"Dasselbe gilt für die GeForce GTX Titan. Hinter der mit (Max) gekennzeichnete Variante versteckt sich die Karte mit maximiertem Temperature- und Power-Target."

What they did was only increase the allowed temperature limit and set power target to its max settings. Then the card did everything else by itself !:D

R9 The Radeon 290X is twice represented in the charts, as these with two different BIOS versions are equipped.
The same applies to the GeForce GTX titanium. Behind the marked (Max) Variant hiding the card with maximized Temperature and Power Target.

So the titan would be even faster when overclocked...:)

Same settings as that site (which got 77.2 fps) :D

Mess what up ? The fact it will be out of your price range so thats nVidia messing it up ?

Nvidia can kill AMD right now if they price it correctly. If they don't most potential buyers will end up getting a non ref 290x. It doesn't have to do with my price range but the general competition between the companies.

They will sell twice as many @ £700 than AMD will @ £400 just because of the name, and Nvidia know it.

+1 and the fact that it will run cooler, quieter and draw less power out of the box are not to be underestimated. If these arrive before AMD get the non ref boards out then they will have quite an advantage.

Although, Nvidia have increased the TDP along with clock rates, these will draw more power than the Titan and run warmer, the Stock 290X is also marginally faster than the Stock Titan, with higher clocks it will put it a little ahead of the 290X.

There is also a lot of throttling on the 290X, according to PCper its running 850Mhz to 900Mhz on average while still being that bit faster than the Titan.

Once the 290X gets a good 3'rd party cooler it should boost to its 1Ghz rate and beyond.

No it isn't. Some games run quicker on the 290X but most run quicker on the Titan :)
TPU use by far the most extensive library of games. overall it is faster according to them.

PCpper also say it is faster over all, if your talking about individual games then yes, its game dependant. :)

More of those games are also faster on the 290X, while not so much at 1080P they still are, and defiantly at 1600P.
