NVIDIA 780 Ti Announced (18/10/13)

No it doesn't. its the other way round ^^^^

For benchmarking Apps yes, Nvidia have it nailed in Heaven Vally and Heaven 4, by a very long way.

I am talking about playing games. i think thats more important to most people. :)

Well you can't just discard the bench results because you don't like them. They have been used as a standard for ages.

That's no different to me saying "I don't like C&C, so let's not count that"

As much as I dislike synthetics for choosing a new card you can't deny they're the most accurate way, game benchmarks have so many more variables.

A slightly higher core clock than the Titan does not make it a successor in my book. I think they will release a card with all smx clusters unlocked(15) just as i predicted many months ago. Only then will it be a true successor.

I will agree its consistent, never the less if your looking for a GPU to play games with then you should look at those games, which are tested with consistency by reviewers.

This is why we need in-game benchs like Tomb Raider/Bioshock. It is the only consistant way to get fair results each time. At least with the acrylic benches like Heaven/Valley, they always give consistent results

The 780ti looks likes it could be promising. For those that have Titan's now is a good time to sell them re-coup the moneys, and put it towards GTX 780ti's. My 780 might be appearing on MM soon. Not sure whether I should sell it or give to my boys and sell their HD 7950.. Hmm.
