NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Your not following your own posts. I meant the soon to be 3080Ti, not the existing ones..

Currenly on the nvidia website store:

Yeah right, like the Ti is going to be less than £900..

I don't get it, we were talking about the non ti and about the ti this is literally what I said a few posts back?

Be lucky if the 3080ti is not pushing £900-1000 MSRP.

I mean, it's pretty obvious if the 3080 is selling for £800 then the 3080Ti isn't going to be less than £900...

Yeah he's kind of lost me, happy to move on though.

£829.99 for the TUF? I got the TUF OC from here for £719.99.

I know, had to double take myself. People still think the prices they ordered at some weeks back are the 'going rate'... well they are not. Yes it was near £700, its now £100 more.

Check the popular websites, they are all out of stock. Its a fantasy world if you think the Ti is going to be cheap, just look at the AMD 6800XT's are a barmy price too.

NVIDIA official Cyberpunk 2077 RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 performance leaks out
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-...7-rtx-3090-and-rtx-3080-performance-leaks-out

At max 4K settings with RT on even the RTX 3090 is unable to get 60 FPS with DLSS, and turning DLSS off we see none of the graphics cards even reaching 30 FPS!
I would wait until release and see what the numbers are after day 1 patch, nvidia ready drivers and also no drm in the game which is what the press version has apparently.

Now that we have the mining hashrate feedback on ETH, the 6900XT yields 65MH/s compared to the 3090's 105MH/s. Somewhat disappointing considering people were hyping the 6900XT to be a 3090 killer. This is another angle to prove the high end nvidia cards are more powerful so unless AMD drop a chunk off their prices I cant see them being the serious alternative.

This is almost purely down to the memory speeds right? I remember when I used to mine ETH that mem overclocking made such a difference to hash rate. AMD gimped it this generation while Nvidia went for high bandwidth. AMD would've murdered Nvidia if they went anywhere near their previous best showings on memory bandwidth.

Yes - as the 5700XT and 6800XT use pretty much the same memory there is only a tiny improvement. There may be a little boost getting the Infinity Cache/SAM involved and the usual algorithm improvements as its newer tech.

I was however expecting a larger jump but the bandwidth seems to cap out above 60MH/s.

For reference the 5700XT gets upwards of 50MH/s dependant on how hardcore you are at mining configs.
