Don't get your hopes up, it'll be an architecture overview and HPC releases.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
I doubt it, Odyssey just averages 55-60fps on a 2080Ti at 4K ultra settingsDo you know for sure AC Vlahalla will do 4k@60fps "full options" on a 2080ti?

+1Game developers can cripple any GPU. Remember Crysis? The test is not 'ultra' - or whatever - settings but visuals that are good enough. Is the game playable with good enough settings?

Yeah I agree. When sites have to 10x zoom on a frame to show you the subtle differences between some high and ultra settings, you soon realise plenty of settings can be set to high or even medium without hardly any observable difference when the game is in motion.Game developers can cripple any GPU. Yep, been doing this for many years. That is why I have been able to game at 4K since 2014.Yeah I agree. RDR2 is the same. Some of the fps gains you get from dropping settings that barely make a difference is ridiculous. Some settings on that game are stupid. Dropping the setting for clouds from max to high returns an extra 30% fps
iirc when I last played Odyssey I had all the settings on High and a couple even at Ultra like textures and I was getting anywhere between 80 and 90fps at 4K
What is more likely imo is your card will be worth about £500 and the reference 3080Ti will be around £1000 or so.God knows what the prices will be like after the corona chaos. My card is already £100 more expensive than what I paid for it 7 months ago!
Im swaying towards £1500 for a reference 3080Ti.

Yeah. Even at £1000 the 3080Ti will be overpriced. Not sure why people think it will be £1500, just can’t see the logic behind that. And then for the second time in the last few years nvidia can go **** themselves
I think there only getting away with charging these high GPU prices because everyone struck in a lock downGod knows what the prices will be like after the corona chaos. My card is already £100 more expensive than what I paid for it 7 months ago!

Yeah. By the time these cards hit there will likely be no lock down, just social distancing. Also there might be job loses as furlough’s end. I doubt there will be an appetite as big numbers as now or the past to spend £1500 on a graphics card.I think there only getting away with charging these high GPU prices because everyone struck in a lock down

The prices should be:
3070 reference $399
3080 reference $599
3080Ti reference $799
Titan $1999 or whatever they want.
They should release the 3070, 3080 and Titan first. Milk the people who want the best with the ludicrous price, then release the 3080Ti.
Reading yesterday that there meant to be over 20 million people lost there jobs in the US already and this virus thing is far from being over yetYeah. More like he would enchant you and when he says “the more you buy...” you will say “the more you save!”I'd love to be in attendance when these cards are announced, i'd be the one asking Jensen was the crack he smoked whilst coming up with his pricing scheme of good quality.
