NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

I've no idea who you are talking to, I assume not me. Must be someone I can't see that I have blocked lol.

It's the chap (chappette?) that was singing the praises of the Ryzen 3000 series but then took umbrage when they wouldn't sell him (her?) a 12 core chip for £200. :p

Why trolling? No one has expected a 12-core for £200. Don't be rude and dishonest.

He does not mind he said, you have helped him purchase many leather jackets in the past based on your sig. Lol.

Indeed I have, but when you reach that "enough is enough" you gotta put your money where your mouth is which I have done. But you are certainly right, he cares not for the little fly that is me :).

Quite a few bud. Had 2 cruises this year (one for our 25th wedding anniversary) and that took pretty much all my spare funds, so gotta get that dosh back up somehow lol
Best get on with it then. Jensen said he has his eye on a new expensive leather jacket, so he will need your contribution when the 3080 Ti comes out! :p

While I'd agree that the current implementations are rather **** I can't at all agree with the flack ray tracing is getting - when enough people have support for hardware implementations of it and developers are using it more and understand it better I think people are going to be very quickly changing their tune.

Just like usual then, :)

We see the same situation with anything new to gaming, they all have a rocky start followed by a period of learning which leads into bigger & better things.

Come on AMD hurry up with your interpretation of raytracing, just so the red team will stop sprouting drivel about raytracing and start singing its praises.:D

AMD already came out and said "we will support all features of Direct X 12 in 2020" - that means they will support Ray Tracing and Mesh/Variable Shading which are the main features they currently don't support.

By 1H 2020 I guess that means May time. Hopefully RTX will be more mature and not have such a heavy frame drop. I still think they should have a separate card like PhysX did.

True that. As soon as AMD can do it, it will be amazing but whilst they can't, it is pointless rubbish lol
