As bad as COVID has been in many obvious regards, it has probably done a lot for people's creativity and self-reliance and maybe appreciating some of the simpler things in life.Don't forget homebrew
The supply companies were swamped with orders.
Could that niggling feeling be because it has been mentioned several times on the last couple of pages?
Nvidia are a corporation and market leader whose primary goal is to make as much money as possible. Their aim is ultimately to price higher per unit AND sell more units.

And I will remain an idealist, because the way things are in the world, is depressing enough. If we don't fundamentally change as a species we will implode.

Yes, buy Nvidia shares. Buy Nvidia GPU’s. Don’t forget that the more you buy the more you save, so buy some for your friends and family to. Life is great. It’s your money and it’s the way it’s meant to be spentMay as well just buy shares in Nvidia now i guess, since people gonna buy whatever they put out at any price anyway![]()
Eh? If what you write is true then how is being financially better off (no debts, more savings) is not conducive to spending money on a luxury purchase? It's also caused people to pay off debts, save and invest.

dedicated high end PC gaming has been in decline.
Of the many things that may cause humanity to implode, I don't think that Nvidia overcharging for GPU's is one of them.
it's been posted already, the 90million accounts does not take into account people having multiple accounts(people who buy accounts with games on them) and hacker throw away accounts. And the 20million people logged in by the way. 6 million was the figure playing games most of which are older games. So you could say pc gaming from 10 years ago is growingDo you have any stats for that? Because there seems to be plenty of money in it. Steam is growing apace, reaching a peak of over 20 million concurrent users, over 90 million monthly active accounts, and over a billion total accounts this year.

Of course, that's all PC gaming.

Ok Mr. hysterical doom-monger, go and sit down and have a cup of tea.If we carry on a species obsessing over making money (which is basically a man made concept) above all else we are bound to fail as a species.
