I thought 21st of august for some reason, probably wrong never mind
They're doing the 21 years thing...might be related to that. But it's a 21 day countdown to the 1st September.

Thought you was happy with your 2080Ti. Knew you would want to upgrade. Funny how it works at these times when a new gen of cards come out. Suddenly the 2080Ti becomes a mid range card or certainly a hell of a lot less desirable anywaysIt gonna come quick enough can’t wait to see what size of lube I’m gonna buy lol.
Looks like there's going to be a last minute scramble to keep it cool for AIBs. Interesting times although can't imagine much if any availability 1st Sept.It appears memory is a real problem for Ampere:

It's consuming a ton of power and is clocked to the very edge! I wonder if Micron screwed up??

Jenson probably found out that RDNA2 didn't scale well at a family get together when Lisa was a little bit tipsyHow the #### would he know that? RDNA2 isn't out yet, you know what? Lets see how big a liar he is, i'm expecting Ampere to be 2X the performance per watt of RDNA2.

And the George Foreman GrillNot something I would risk saying if true. But you can bet your bottom dollar that if they screw up and its a noisy heat fest the GIFs are out from the 290x era for sure!![]()

Self, self, selfI think the 3070 will be just gddr6 so won't be an issue for me![]()

"There are no final performance data yet, Nvidia keeps the ball extremely flat for fear of leaks and the AICs even on the shortest dog leash I have ever seen at a launch." Also known as Tom Bradying
Isn't it more to do with the board design, memory on both sides creating a high concentration of heat?
They're both doing really well keeping leaks plugged. I'm actually impressed in this day and age as it can't be easy. X-rays and full cavity searches on exiting the buildingFirst bit of decent potential competition they've had in a while has got them paranoid AF![]()
