NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Big Navi is supposed to be top-end. I suppose one of them might drop into mid- range territory depending how mid-range is defined. Don't go there :p

Haha yeah I’ve seen the different opinions on what is high and mid range I’ll also give that a wide birth :D

I didn’t see big Navi mentioned in what I was replying to, I was thinking the whole range

Sep 9th for custom cards rumour on that links message board..pinch of salt as always

The RDNA2 cards being released soon are supposed to be at the upper end. The 5X00 series will get replaced later.

If Ampere ends up 2x efficiency compared to RDNA2, AMD may as well withdraw from the GPU gaming market, and just make workstation cards and CPU's.
Apart from basically all cloud computing servers us AMD GPU's

You may now draw a bullseye on your back for Jensen. ;)

Feels like it for me this time round.. since sli and crossfire went to (s)height it’s been a bit of a pain using my 1080ti for 4K gaming.. I skipped the last gen which is how I’m trying to justify Purchasing the 3090 even though the price is going to be shocking .. If the perf is good enough of course..

this will be me done for a few generations though, gone are the days of me upgrading each time round.
