NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Looks a bit suspicious to me. The one picture of the backplate side, shows it all covered up, bar the one fan. Then the other side, you can clearly see through the heat sink to the desk below, at the top bit. If the back plate is as its shown, you shouldn't be able to see the table beneath.

It does look suspicious. In the top pic the card looks totally flat but I/O bracket is at a weird and quite extreme angle. It also doesn't look like the cards have been pictured together.
 
If the image on the previous page is anything like the card coming to market then it's a power hungry monster, and means that they can't get it working at competitive speeds without running seriously out of the process sweet spot, much like Vega and Polaris were, except this looks worse.

The prices have gone up over Turing for the top model.

The RTX2080TI was $999~$1199. RTX2070 was $499~$599.RTX2060~$350. Only the RTX3080 has the same price as the RTX2080.
