**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

I hope the new Batman game doesn't have similar issues with Kepler based cards.
I'm surprised you need to drop some settings down to medium, that's harsh indeed.

The strangest is that at 1920x1200 my old 1.5GB GTX 580 easily played the game at medium settings, getting 45-55fps. Yet people on reddit with 770's had issues :(

I'll play around with settings tomorrow, Gone with the default settings on geforce experience currently.

I avoid those "optimizations" after it killed my performance earlier today, along with Shadowplay.

After I used it both GPUs refused to get more than 50% utilisation, and I had similar fps to a single 980ti. Wiped it all with DDU in safemode, clean install, enabled SLI again, and just used the in-game settings.

Anyone installed EVGA Precision? I opened it up to check temps and I see that my reference card is hitting boost clocks of 1200mhz. Does Precision overclock your card purely by running it? All sliders were untouched, power target was at 100%.

Will be interesting to see how may units they can ship before June 16th and the AMD Fury announcement...

I expect quite a few people that haven't received their card by then might be changing their orders then...

At least the Graphics space is interesting and keeping us kean eh?

By the way, anyone running dual 1440p monitors? How much does it impact frame rate on your cards?

Can't say I have, but my cards boost to 1290Mhz anyway, although they are the Superclocked ones.

Some people's Superclocked cards boosted over 1300Mhz as well.

EVGA stock delayed?
Well, I'd love to do this via OCUK but I really can't wait a few weeks as I'm moving house.
I've had to cancel my order here and purchased Palit reference cards that came into stock today elsewhere for a Monday delivery.

lol... LOTS of impatient people here :) Got my eye on the EVGA 980ti SC x2 for sli... but Im waiting till well after the new AMDs are out when the prices settle and the benchmarks are in. OC.co.uk will have to look at there prices tho because they are currently £13 cheaper elsewhere :/ and that is a bucket of chicken and a few tinnies while the drivers install ;)

Does anyone here with 3-4 Titan X's or 980Ti similar cards know what their power usage is? What PSU's are you using? Especially Kaap.

Do these actually look accurate?
I want to add a 3rd 980Ti, but not sure if my EVGA 1000W G2 can handle it. On the EVGA forums they're stating you need at least a 1500W PSU or you'll blow your system under load :/

I'm getting fed up with waiting for AMD to release there HBM card and a 980 ti is saying buy me . but on the other hand my two 780s still play everything i need them to @ 2560x1440 , i just want to go back to a single card solution .

All the retailers seem to be overinflating the prices. I got my SC pre-order in very early elsewhere at a price which is lower than the cheapest reference now!

I do like the look of the ACX cooler though and so may yet switch my order.

What is considered the best card out of these for overclocking, cooling, keeping value?:

  1. MSI GeForce GTX 980Ti Gaming - £576
  2. Inno3D GeForce GTX 980Ti Herculez OC - £599
  3. EVGA GeForce GTX 980Ti Superclocked ACX 2.0 - £599 (one I've ordered)
  4. Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980Ti G1 - £615 Looks great, was tempted to get this but don't want to wait a month
  5. Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP Extreme Edition - £620

Or is there not much difference?

I was originally going to order an EVGA Reference with plans to SLI them later this year but since Pascal is coming out next year I'll probably keep this 980ti for a year, sell it then buy the top Pascal card when they come out.
