Seriously though... don't beat yourselves up for missing the release of new stock. It's not healthy to be sat refreshing a website all day, when there are more important things to life.
 
The hype around getting FE cards is akin to T day for Glastonbury...

Having read all that is going on, not just here but elsewhere as well, I am beginning to think Nvidia rushed the launch to counter AMD (Tin foil hat on) they have done it in the past, so have a proven track record in doing it.
It just seems to me that this is not just a stock issue but also AIB’s being caught off guard. Nvidia have know for months the production hit being taken by rona and “should” have made allowances to balance the market place. If the EVGA rumours are to be believed then something is defo not right. There is no way an AIB would ignore the global market to concentrate on region. Just sounds way to rushed.
I am not looking forward to the 3070 scrum.

Please have look if you can, I'm prepared to wait as I've waited 8 months for the ampere anyways, I think a lot of people will just be able to hold some hipe actually seeing there name in some sort of list. Even tho I contributed to the other thread with my info I still don't see my order there

I searched and couldnt find anything. Do you have a 3080 version @Krazeyivan?
 
Knowing a queue position is nice, but it's pretty pointless if you ordered one of the cards for which zero stock has arrived as of yet. You could be in the first 5 and still just as clueless as to when the thing might arrive.
Prior to September 17th there was an ETA so surely there can be at least some kind of update to the ETA two weeks later?

No, one of their factories are producing 1 million cards per month not day. Launch was rushed by nVidia and they sent the cards and specifications a month before the actual launch. And now, of course you cannot find a card in stock because production still takes a while to catch up.
Think of this, many countries have tens if not hundreds of stores like OCUK and all of them are running dry.
 
Hi all long time lurker of gpu anonymous, I’m just wondering if the lack of info is because everything is shut in the China with the festival. In which case no real comms from that side til people are generally back in the office on Tuesday/Wed. Not sure where the cards are sourced from but just wondering.

Probably the best post on either of these threads. The rest of has been a closed loop with no information. I do find it odd though that the official thread from Gibbo is mentioning some manufacturers shipments but some others we are only hearing about when someone gets one shipped. What's the point if the thread only mentions some of the incoming cards but not others?

Just have to accept there'll be no magical place where there's loads of stock. There's no point getting stuck in two queues. When we get a proper queue number through I'll be more satisfied as I least I'll know where I stand.

On the plus side, I did get a 20% discount code for the cancellation as an apology for them cocking up. Now I'm going end up more skint thinking of the most expensive thing to purchase so I get my discounts worth, solid infallible logic.
