Nope, ASUS are quiet and there’s nothing listed in the updates thread. Going purely off of what’s listed in there, anyone would think that ASUS are only producing the TUF OC. I imagine they aren’t, of course! But the complete silence is kind of annoying.

I've seen some hints of information on the ASUS PC DIY Group facebook thread and on the German ROG ASUS group to suggest OC 3080 Strix cards are coming, with a couple of people stating next week.

I am 9th while ordering on the 1.10., hopefully this gamble on an unpopular brand pays off and it won't take them months to get few cards. One good thing is that we know that there have been PNY 3080 deliveries into the UK, just no info on OCUK

Yeah, I have some of the US and even some EU ones in later update delaying dates with "material shortages". Obviously this week is a national holiday in china so that may even knock it on further. Whilst ASUS do have some factories outside china if they are waiting on supplies for anything produced in china it could halt the production.

Phew I'm a little more optimistic than you, I think the numbers will start picking up in a couple of weeks.

I had a dream last night where I was having a blazing row with Bruce Forsythe, he had a stockpile of graphics cards that he was going to burn to keep warm in winter... Truly bizarre.

The lack of concerted updates from Gigabyte concerns me. Most other AIB's have seen some, if only a little movement, in shipments.

As far as I can tell, Gigabyte hasn't sent anything further to OcUK since their initial allotment (assuming they had any, because I have not seen anyone with an Eagle or Gaming OC from OcUK, although I may have missed them).

Being number 508 in the Q for an Eagle makes me think I will not see the card this year unless there are some hefty shipments on their way.

I'm actually thinking of cancelling pre-order and buying a ps5, that's how bad it's getting. I just want to play Cyberpunk with raytracing when it comes out.

I'd be skeptical about the chance of getting either console on release day personally. PS5 chip yields are reportedly much lower than expected at 50%. I think they are going to be as hard to get as an Nvidia card in the near future.

Amazon UK will get all the stock anyway. Little retailers like scan and OC wont get more than 300-500 cards this year.

Amazon UK are **** poor for stocking decent computer components. They rarely seem to stock anything much, they just aren't in this business (yet).

Only just noticed that I got an email!

I am 34 in queue for the INNO3D TWIN X2 OC 3080, I am really happy about this because hopefully when they receive shipments of this card it will be more than 34 at once so I will receive the first batch this October! Let’s just hope they send more than 34 cards per batchdo you think this is possible?

I think there is a decent possibility that would be the case. Inno3D has said their cards were on the way to the UK already at least a week ago. Being we haven't seen them yet, they might be a bulk shipment being sent via boat. I saw that Germany received some last week, but I think they may have been air-mailed. We might have a week or two of wait left, but hopefully we'll see a larger fulfillment.

I went with the TUF non Oc on the 27th September (late I know) and feel it was a bad decision as I have been advised I'm 1734 in the queue so yeah maybe next year some time I might see it!!

I'm wondering whether to preorder Asus TUF Rtx3080 (non-OC) now to at least get it at before early 2021 and make my build then once it arrives. Not sure whether to go intel or AMD for CPU but the next few weeks will tell.
Is this likely to be the wait if I order the GPU here or anywhere for that matter? Any ideas - weeks, months or fractions of years with small denominators (1/4 or 1/3)... ... :S
My own rig is 12 years old but can still 'play' doom 2016.
I'm upgrading from an I5 760 (Lynnfield) w 8Gb 1866Mhz DDR3 & gtx 950Ti - expecting a number fold improvement LOL but I can wait till next year to bother doing this at all.

I'm wating for an iChill X4 so it's interesting news, but I've not seen any confirmation of any shipment. Boat is not the only method these days,take a look at this:
