*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

First time poster, long time lurker. I've been invoiced the key for said video game so I intend to get it when, eventually, my card ships.

For those interested, I ordered the Asus 3080 Strix OC, current queue position is 48.
The codes are subject to availability. Even if its on your order it is listed as £0 value.
Went for £799, painful just typing it out
Ouch! £150 over RRP. Still, at least you don't have to stress any more. You will have the card and it will be great.

if you're 300+ in a queue, you might as well give up tbh. I canceled my 3080 order here because i was over 600 and used a stock informer site to push notifications to me when stock was available in a range of different stores, got a 3090 in my machine right now and a 3080 coming on the 30th of november. Also managed to get a 5950x.

There's no point cancelling if you have the money to keep searching elsewhere while you're waiting but yeah definitely not worth the wait if it means you can't search elsewhere. I'm searching everyday and if I manage to find a card I'll just cancel my order here but I'm not cancelling my order before I find one elsewhere that's just counter intuitive.

Probably a complete waste of time, but what the hell.
Some support would be appreciated.

Thread nuked.

Now that is bad.

Oh wow - this just goes from bad to worse.

Ignoring people on twitter is bad enough - but actively deleting threads on their forums? Yeesh

Ha. well the Mother Truckers! :eek:

Well I obviously hit a nerve asking about the non-OC cards chaps.

Lets see if I get BAN for posting about it again. :p

Hey guys, first time posting in this forum. I have order a Palit RTX 3080 card at launch week, and my queue movements are as follows:

2/10/2020 => 84

15/10/2020 => 71

23/10/2020 => 40

30/10/2020 => 38

6/11/2020 => 38

So, I'm following Gibbo's update regarding the RTX 3080 cards shipments, and from what I see, at this time, no mentions of Palit cards. I have no intention of cancelling the order until I find another at a competitor that sells an RTX 3080 at MSRP. My question is: is there something wrong with Palit that causes them this delay?

At a guess it's people cancelling due to getting cards elsewhere or just getting sick of it.

What a waste of time Asus have become, wouldn't bother me if they went under.

Their products are good, but it does look like they need to work on their customer relations a little. :p

Been monitoring the Asus German and French webstores and watched the 3080 and 3070 oc and non oc models come in and out of stock constantly while on sitting here wondering where the heck mine is. Been 18th in the non oc queue now for over 4 weeks
