*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

No info about rog strix oc cards?
I cant believe I'm still here
Work and kids are keeping me away of getting the card myself
Ordered some from diferent places none of them ship to UK. But deftly quite easy to find them in europe
Ocuk had sent all the other product with very good timings, fast delivery and good conditions.
Not blaming them but angry that I can see cards everywhere but not here

Seriously can't wait for the AMD cards to hit the stores so I can see the effect it has on the 3080 queues, I may even jump ship if I can manage to bag one, roll on November 18th!!!

Feel like I've got to voice myself at this point. I ordered my 3080 Eagle on 17/09/2020 at 14:36 BST, 36 minutes after orders went live and it is now currently 12/11/2020 00:28 GMT at the time of writing, which is 55 days, 11 hours, 9 minutes and 41 seconds. My fury has never been greater. I was given the first que position email on 02/10/2020 13:19 BST which was position 89. It has been approximately 40 days, 11 hours, 12 minutes and 20 seconds since I received that email saying I was at que position 89. At 06/11/2020 at 17:30 GMT, approximately 5 days, 7 hours, 2 minutes and 56 seconds from the time of writing this, I recieved a email saying I'm in que position 38. Meaning it has taken approximately 35 days, 4 hours, 11 minutes and 0 seconds as of the writing of the message, to shift 51 Eagles. Which is about 1.45 Eagles a day. I have had friends who have ordered 3070s and have recieved them before me. I understand that there was issues with the Eagles and the power connnector, but this is just unbelievable. The news on the Eagles is few and far between, when we do get updates they are very vague and clear up nothing. There is no confirmation of the Eagle stock arriving on site or when it is being despatched from site. We just see messages like "We are getting stock in the high teens at the end of this week" then we hear nothing of their arrival or despatch. I've paid, as well as a lot of other people have paid, £660+ on these cards so I think the customer service needs to match the cost of what we have paid, especially since the money has already been taken from our bank accounts. I understand that it is potentially difficult to get stock or there are potentially other varibles at play. But what I don't understand is the complete lack of communication and vaguery, which again, when being sat on £660 of my money, I find totally unacceptable. I was reading this thread and someone appropriately described their feelings as "Anguish" @Ju2ef . Couldn't agree more.

*Edit* Grammar, Spelling
When someone asks what time it is, do you use the same format? :D

It has been 2020 years, 11 months, 11 days, 3 hours, 8 minutes and 35 seconds.

With the Eagle now being produced with the fixed connector

They are being produced but the situation with the connector blocks isn't confirmed as fixed just yet. If you haven't seen it already, some users are reporting receiving new cards and still having issues with misaligned pins. We are still unclear on whether all cards have been fitted with the upgraded connector and GIGA-Man is trying to find out what has gone on at the factory.

At this point I would just protest with your wallets and cancel your pre-orders.
As you can complain till you turn red, grow horns and breath fire... they only understand one thing, money.
  • The RX 6xxx series launches 6 days time.
  • The RTX 3080Ti is likely launching sometime in Q1 2021, which is right around the corner.

Just keep using your old card or buy a stop gap card to tie you over till Q1.

While I am not telling people what to do your advice seems a bit flawed with regards to the AMD and Ti releases. Do you not think they will be just as hard to get hold of? I do.

Looks like you are right. OC are using most of the supplies on their pre-built or it doesnt make any sense.
BTW they will make more money out of pre-built than selling just the card

They might be. But at least there will be a drop of units on day one across every retailer that you've got a chance of getting if you're quick enough.

You might have said that the RTX3080 Ti may launch in Q1 2021 but won't be available to buy from stock until Q2 2023 !

As Stanners says - the Zen 3 launch clearly didn't have the stock most retailers were hoping for (and seem to have been promised).

I suspect the 6800 launch will be as successful as the Zen 3 launch.
