*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Since launch i have gone up from queue no.398 to 241 fir the eagle but would like to know whether this is due to cancellations or actual orders being shipped.I only get my new queue position on a friday so i am presuming it is due to cancellations & not orders shipped as gibbo has said you will get a new queue position after cards in your queue have shipped

Just cancelled the MSI Ventus 3080 this morning. Position 643. Back when I ordered I didn't fancy paying the additional for the gaming x to gain a couple of FPS. But obvious when you think about it, OC versions are going to go out first and in larger quantities as the Ventus is effectively the rejects from the Gaming X. Should have my money back in time for the 6800 release next week. Failing that, I'll just use my 1080 till Feb/Mar next year and buy something when the shelves are stocked.

No info about rog strix oc cards?
I cant believe I'm still here
Work and kids are keeping me away of getting the card myself
Ordered some from diferent places none of them ship to UK. But deftly quite easy to find them in europe
Ocuk had sent all the other product with very good timings, fast delivery and good conditions.
Not blaming them but angry that I can see cards everywhere but not here

I'm from the Netherlands and been following this thread to see how the delivery of 3080 STRIX OC cards is spreaded.
Let me tell you that I have been at position 7 for this card since 30 mins before it even launched at a Dutch retailer that call themselves official Nvidia partner.

There have been a total of 35 STRIX OC cards delivered across Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg combined.

It's a total ******** and UK is not the only ones getting screwed over by ASUS.

Then what is going on over there. As ASUS also is caving in all the time on social media, to point deleting posts as soon as someone mentions 30s ....

The only ones that are getting containers full of this card it seems are the United States. There's a Facebook page called ASUS PC DIY Facebook where people are posting they got their STRIX card from brick and mortar stores like Best Buy just freely available in shelves.

I'm seeing a pattern here

Oh boy don't even start. I've been waiting so long now that I refuse to cancel my pre-order. My frustration is going more towards ASUS now despite the fact that the retailer I ordered from (biggest in Holland) has had complete radio silence from the beginning. Not a SINGLE piece of info...

Damn that is some ********. I always liked ASUS for their quality, but now am slowly leaning out of them. If i will secure another brand in next few days from another store and if i will like how it works, this might be the time i'm breaking the cycle of ASUS. All it would take, just tell customers - oh we are sending first baches to US, then EU. Fine ain't nice but at least we know what's going on......

That's crazy - just 35? I managed to order one for my sister on 30th October and it arrived 2 days ago. Looking at the tracking, it shipped from Germany despite buying from retailer in UK. And was cheap, just £836.

From what I see across different sources is that ASUS distributes their cards to wherever they make the most profit. Which is their own official store (read: US and Germany). This removes the margins that retailers make on the cards.

This way they can sell at promised MSRP and keep more money in their pockets. It's basically a win-win for ASUS and a loss-loss for anyone outside of Germany/US.

Anyone had shipping confirmations for the Gigabyte OC drop that happened last few days? Patiently waiting for my new queue position e-mail. Although @GIGA-Man said it was "Very large" I am not hopeful that it is 123 cards very large and @Gibbo said it was an "OK" amount.

Going off Asus myself. I'm switched from an MSI z270 M5 to a Strix z490-E and I'm not that impressed. The MSI just seems better, more stable network controller, better memory OC, better built overall imo, and despite the MSI being 4 years old, it looks almost as good.

Mind you, it's not like any of the AIB's have exactly covered themselves in glory. A few quick examples.

ASUS complete radio silence, lack of stock, not producing non-oc models, stupid price premium over founders for strix.
EVGA screwing European customers, the FTW3 essentially being just a crappy overpriced reference board with a fancy cooler. All fur coat an no knickers! I'm was a fan of evga, my 1080 FTW and FTW2 are proper premium cards, my supernova is a great psu. What happened?
MSI scalping their own cards. The Trio having a fake 3rd 8pin while only being a 350w card. Rumours of a v2 3080 coming capable of decent OC's. Radio silence on 3080.

I could go through all the brands in a similar way. What they all have in common is that the cards seem rushed, overpriced, cheaply made and completely lacking in stock.

I'm position 49 for the Gaming OC as of last Friday - still haven't had an update regarding yesterday's supposed delivery yet, though hopefully we'll hear something today.

Ordered an inno3d x4 Rtx 3080 last night , no email telling me what position in queue im in? Anybody no anytning about when these cards are coming and there expected quantity?
