*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Actually, looking at my order history I ordered @ 12 Nov 2020 10:08:00 (Zotac GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity OC).

So how can someone who ordered @ 10:40 already have a ahipping email and I don't? My guess is they make it up as they go along... or as someone else said they worked backwards from the queue.

Relax, order time and shipping sequence don’t have to follow each other once stock is allocated.

There will be more than one person picking & packing each with their own list of orders.

I see they also now have 10+ GeForce RTX 3090 Ventus 3X OC 24GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card IN STOCK.

Can they actually be trusted that have that amount in stock or are they just adding people to a queue again?

After this mornings scalping episode I've had enough. I'm voting with my wallet.

Order cancellation submitted. Everyone in the TUF 3080 non-OC above the thousand mark just made up a place.

Yeah, I know I should relax but after almost two months of trying to get a card and when you think you've actually done it.... it turns out you may not have done it :(

I even went to the lengths of turning off my alerts (discord, telegram, distill etc.)

Before today, I was about to write a webscraper to text me when the listed stock changed for any card, I know your pain.

Christ if they were live for that long then I'm probably screwed. It still said 10+ available when I ordered and then a few minutes after dropped to being out of stock so hopefully maybe. Refunding through PayPal is a pain in the ass too. In the past they've taken the money out and then put it back in a week later

I was about to cancel both my TUF 3080 and 5900X order when I saw the Zotac and thought one more roll of the dice. Ordered and 10+ were showing, payment cleared and 10+ were still showing. Not long after that showed nothing. No idea if I'll get one but I'm definitely giving up on the TUF. 5900X I suspect I'll be cancelling after tomorrows update and if the Zotac gambit has failed then I'm out. Will have the cash back for Christmas and see where things lie next year when there is actual stock and normalised pricing.

Why not give the NON OC ZOTAC (loyal) customers chance to switch to the OC before letting all the newbies order one? Seems that OcUK have ZERO appreciation for their long standing customers.

Well done ;) Just to rub salt into the wound what time did you order today?
I ordered at 10:09, got email from OC at 10:30 and Amazon Payment processed at 11:33 and Customer Services have said I should be getting a card, but still no dispatch email as of yet, but they might just be slow with our emails. You should be set! *finger crossed*.

Even though it appears I am one if those people who bagged a Zotac this morning, I tend to agree. There's hundreds of people who ordered in the first hour still waiting for a card, I think they should have gone and offered those waiting in stationary queues a chance to swap to this card.

would be nice... would have happily paid the extra seeing there is literally no updates/communication regarding them ever. any time its mentioned its just ignored...

I misread it at first but as he said teens I would assume its 11/16 shipping today. So 16 in total. I am position 65 so I pray its 16+11 then + Ok amount next week so I will get my card but lets not get too excited

I genuinely think Gibbo has worded the update like this to give the impression of more cards. He said an OK amount, yet @GIGA-Man said 16pc.

Just one of the many reasons to be disgusted with the communication from OCUK.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Cool... thank you for taking the time to respond... not sure how I check to see what time my PayPal order was processed but the funds were marked to come out of my account almost immediatelywhen I check my banking app.

My OC orders page just has "Order received - not yet shipped ".

To be frank, I don't think they give a **** at this point they've had our money for around 2 months now. So to them 'Why put in the extra effort when we already have their money and know we had it for this long.'

Exactly why I've just requested a refund. No longer will my money sit in OcUK's account gathering interest. It's going back on my credit card so I can spend it on something else. Elsewhere.

To add insult to injury Asus are happily selling the TUF 3080 non-OC card direct in France and Germany and supplying some small amounts to other UK Partners.
