Hi all
First time looking on here after waiting for my 3080 ordered day one and 92 in the Q for Asus 3080 non oc
Ive looked back at what seems a very lot of posts and little has been said about Asus 3080 non oc apart from none are coming
Is this normal for a pre order to take 2 months and counting ?
I have tried ring Overclockers several time but can never get through. is that normal ?
Seems the only way of any contact is from a guy called Gibbo but he's not forth coming is he

Big delay is ASUS not making many Non OC cards due to chips being to good supposedly. That should have nothing to do with it, they should make all cards equally, far more orders for Non OC worldwide.

Better off using Webnote or the Customer service section of Forums for communication.

MSI Trio is coming today from a competitor as I've been in the queue for a Trinity non OC since 3pm launch day and the only thing showing up other than 15 cards is the OC model. MSI card popped up yesterday and is now arriving in about 30 minutes. Reason for my post is to share something with you all, might even give you a laugh.

So I'm using my friends 1080ti atm (replacing my 1070 until 3080 arrives) and I seen that the Trio needs 3xPCIe connectors. So I went hunting for the PSU box as I'm meant to have 4xPCIe cables. I found it in the attic but no PCIe cables, just some SATA and other cables. So I come downstairs and ordered a new cable from Corsair. £5 for the cable, £5 for delivery. I then look to see if I can get away with daisy chaining port 2/3 and port 1 directly so I can at least use the card until the cable arrives. Seen that people have done this so I looked in my PC to see if the cables split. I then realised I already had the two extra PCIe cables already plugged in and stashed horribly in my case somewhere....

I used to run MSI Lightnings in SLI (680s) and totally forgot. I've tried to cancel from Corsair and even if it's too late, it's only a tenner.

Afternoon All,

My e-mail exchange with ASUS continues at a rate of 1 e-mail per week I'm guessing they are getting a lot of messages at the moment, and Lockdown 2.0 in the UK maybe affecting staffing, happy to give Becky the benefit of the doubt seeing as she's just the poor soul on the front line, and not the one calling the shots at Nvidia/ASUS.

This is regards a statement/some details that ASUS were supposedly going to be putting out on their socials about availability.

My Watch continues.
 
I'm out of the madness. landed an MSI Gaming X Trio yesterday, delivered today.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Eagle OC Position 224 now cancelled.

I just missed out on a MSI RTX 3080 Trio X...had it in the basket then the crashed, and they were sold before I could try again. Gutted.

50th in the Queue but so sick of waiting with absolutely no comms from OC.

I've seen EVGA Geforce RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra sitting in stock on a competitors webpage and its so hard kit to click buy...there's been 7 of them there all day and I can't believe they're not gone already!
