I'm glad I got one else where, I was 39th for a gigabyte gaming oc, I don't think I would have gotten one this week either, even though I'm sure I saw gigaman say VERY LARGE amount of them. 35 is small to okay... Weird
 
Get in touch via their Discord they’re quick to respond. I just asked whether I had been assigned one of the Zotac trinity’s that came in stock and they checked for me.

I haven’t yet been assigned a card, although not sure if anyone else has (any of you in here able to update?)

It doesn't bode well when the Gigabyte Rep confirms that more units have shipped to OCUK and have not been received by customers since launch and now all of a sudden we are seeing the cards land when Gigaman has been providing the updates. People are going to speculate and rightly so...

Such as? Why is everyone to do with OCUK so ******* shady and secretive? If you've got nothing to hide then tell the truth?

Not shady and secretive at all, the truth has been told, people just don't won't to listen, and the limited shop staff can either spend time repeating the same things over and over, in which case everyone would still moan as they weren't getting the orders shipped or they can try and get on with their jobs and make the best out of a horrible sucky situation that we're all in.

Honestly, I get the frustration, I've had the same myself in the past but there comes a time when you've got to open your eyes and see what's happening in the world and just count yourself lucky that you're well, alive and able to splash out on sweet new toys. It sucks, but it sucks for the whole world over not just here!

That might be true, but one piece of information I want to see is where on Earth the Inno iChill X4s are? Have Inno actually produced any because as far as I can see there haven't been any deliveries anywhere save review samples. In a situation where OCUK is sole UK importer it's different to a large company like Asus who do have European representation and are expected to impart what information they have. Where OCUK are direct importers it behoves them to do the job of a Euro Rep and I'm afraid there appears to have been precious little work done at all.

A case in point is the 4 - 6 weeks plus it took for OCUK to discover the error about shipments of the Inno cards because regular communication between the two companies was not established.

I'm afraid there is little excuse for this, and I expect that since that last communication there has been no chasing done on the part of OCUK - the tiny delivery due in two weeks is almost certainly down to us customers pestering Inno for information instead.
 
i'm now being lectured that I should be thankful that I had the opportunity to send OCUK the best part of a grand and be none-the-wiser about when I actually might see the product I paid for nearly two months later

Think is I'm not well, I've had 6 months of hell having had covid and STILL have symptoms every day, all I want is the very expensive item I've paid for. I get that there are supply issues, but OCUK are so cryptic in their replies it's just not on. You say stuff has been said and nobody's listening but that just isn't true. It's not hard to update a website page/forum post daily, the lack of staff excuse is simply BS, sorry.
If they want people to stop moaning left right and centre about the lack of information, how about the company provides some? Some nice clear and regular updates just aren't hard to provide, OCUK aren't the only company that are in a pandemic....

Genuinely sorry to hear that you're having health issues, something I can relate to all too well, I hope you beat it and recover soon :)

Gibbo has a thread for updates, so if it's not in there, what more do you want (aimed at the world in general) if he posts no news for this card, how does that help, unless I'm missing something else? Genuine question :)
