I pretty much expecting AMD launch gonna be far worse. AMD do not produce GPU in same volume as Nvidia and hype is real

Either way competition is going to help in the long time.... just like we all know AMD can’t have working drivers on day one....lol
We don't believe that they have actually produced any yet, other than review samples, this is why.

Hello, I ordered an ASUS OC 3080 on Sunday for pre-order I am yet to receive an email stating queue position. I signed up for Discord notification and could have bought a Gigabyte 3080 today from the notification. Honestly wanted to ask would it be worth hanging around for pre-order or cancel and take your chances with notification? Only reason I ordered an Asus was the reviews had the OC at 1850 MHz and the Gigabyte etc had problems advice greatly appreciated. Plus how long has people waited to get refunded thanks
neither produce GPUs they've only design them and their contractors producing them. AMD is on better possition as TSMC's 7nm has far more better yields. Will see after launch.
my advise you to keep your preorder until you can buy from notifications, whichever's first. All 3080s have similar performance, max 10 FPS difference across whole range so if have the opportunity grab other cards. the ony difference is noise and temps. that's my opinion. I applied for a refund last Friday (for one of my cards) and got it on Monday, 1 working day then. they state that refunds are processed 1-2 working days. hope that helps
Yes nvidia told me the same. Then ocuk tell people they are not participating in the promotion and the next thing we hear is that somebody is being offered a COD code for a lost gpu. Now ocuk could be paying for this code out of their own pocket. Who thinks thats the case? lol
It seems to me like ocuk could possibly have COD codes and be using them to appease and "compensate" wronged customers that kick up enough of a fuss. I could be wrong but does seem very odd to me and wouldn't surprise me at all tbh

hmmmm but it’s still nearly half that of a 2080 ti which is inferior, it only appears silly money as it’s gone up, if it had come out at say £1200 people probably wouldn’t have blinked at the price.

That plan might have a stumbling block, you'll be paying a lot more for the FE waterblock if you go with EKWB. I don't know what The other brands are offering but EK is super expensive.
