Quick question. Gibbo said yesterday that an ok amount of TUF OCs is due within the next five days and then said today that there was a small amount coming in soon. Are these two individual shipments?

Knowing OCUK, I would go with the only one coming in is the 'small amount' one.

I just got my TUF OC Shipped and I was 13th in the queue, LET'S GOOO, YESSS, I will never be back here again because I live in the USA and yeah, I don't buy here normally, but hey, I was 13th if anyone needs to know.

Where are the 3080 Xtremes?!
According to OC customer service on the phone there aren't any, and none due in when I spoke to them 2 days ago (Then canceled due to that information position 19).
However its been said some were sent to OC, who who knows, prob gone to friends, family, employees, door stop for the utterly unenthused customer service agent I spoke to no one will ever know the truth, communications not a thing which makes the conspiracy theories worse, but if you question that fact you should be grateful for what you have already information wise, however the increasing hostility from more and more people here says otherwise.
At some point the threads are gonna go missing to hide it all and start again.

Someone earlier said they got their dispatch email and they were position 38 so it looks like an ok shipment of 38 to 50 and a very small shipment of around 10.

Hello everyone, just calling on all people who ordered the Gigabyte Eagle OC. My order date and time is as follows.
17/09/2020 15:13:57
My last queue update was for number 196.
I’m struggling to believe that this is possible as I’ve been trawling through this forum for going on 3hours now and I’ve seen people order (albeit different brands) at literally like weeks after me have either got their card or have a shorter queue position than me. Again I know they have different branded cards but I bought a gigabyte card knowing it was one of the biggest brands that was also selling a retail priced card so it’s surely okay to assume their manufacturing process would be faster? But back to my original point of ask, can anyone that ordered this card at a similar time confirm they have a similar queue position just to save my sanity

The Eagle has been one of the most scarce cards - other than a tiny handful on the week of launch, they had not received or sent any Eagles at all until sometime last week - in terms of availability, it is one of the worst cards to have picked (which many of us did because of the September 23rd ETA).

They have finally started to get a small trickle of them in again, but compared to almost every other skew, Gigabyte cards have been like 4-6 weeks behind most of the others in terms of shipments.

We have essentially backed the wrong horse at the wrong bookie. I ordered 4 minutes before you and am like 130th or so in the queue - I’ve moved about 100 places in the queue and about 70 of those have been cancellations

Thank you for replying so quickly, was about to head off to bed! Yeah that kinda make sense as all my footballing bets have been let down by one pesky team all season so far haha.

But in all seriousness they must just use the same unit for the Gaming version in which if they clock higher they’re made into Gaming then if they clock that little bit lower they’re made into Eagles. Kinda like that I think it was an ASUS brand card (Again I might not be correct in this assumption).

I’m a pretty patient person but seeing that they look to be discontinuing the Watchdog promotion and not adding the COD one has got me a little riled up this evening I’m not going to lie! Also I paid like £10/£15 For next day delivery, surely we must be due a refund on that?

Thinking of canceling and trying my luck at a 6900xt same price better performance matched with a ryzen chip maybe dreamland...been in the queue since 17th sept.. maybe I'll get crazy lucky with amd

Thought i would just let people who are reading this thread know that it cost me £11.93 to cancel my 3080 and a Ryzen 5 chip today!

I have been keeping a eye on this thread and i ordered the card and chip and a motherboard and some other small bits for a build im doing and i took the plunge and ordered knowing i would have to wait for the Gcard and CPU. I then wanted to make sure the motherboards BIOS was compatible with the Rzyen 5 straight out the box if not i would wait for a motherboard what is. I also asked what queue number i was for my 3080 as i had nothing telling me the position.

I tried to phone and ask but was in a queue for over 40 mins and give up and contacted overclockers via their webnotes.

The time i got a reply to the webnote the motherboard had already been delivered and the reply did not answer my question. He just stated that i can flash the motherboard with out putting a old CPU in it. He also did not respond to my request for the queue number i was after ordering the 3080.

I send another webnote pointing this out and get one back this morning telling me i never asked about the queue number for the 3080 and also still no answer on if the motherboard and chip was compatible out the box.

After reading everything in this thread i decided best thing to do was cancel the 2 orders i have left with overclockers and send the motherboard back. It really does feel like something not right is going on with this launch and i would be interested to know how much overclockers make in profit just from the interest they generate by holding everyone's cash.

I read in this thread someone saying the best way to cancel is via phone so i phoned today and was in a queue for over 50 mins and spent 10mins or more canceling the orders and sorting the RMA out for the motherboard.

TLDR:
A 1:04:30 call (what you only talk to someone for about 10 mins) Cost£11.93!

While I am not telling people what to do your advice seems a bit flawed with regards to the AMD and Ti releases. Do you not think they will be just as hard to get hold of? I do.

This whole situation is hugely flawed.
But the 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti are coming plus AMD's line up isn't weak this time around.

So the case to keep waiting for the 3080 makes less sense with each passing day.
You are just going to get a better card sometime in Q1.

At £650 it makes perfect sense for me (and maybe others) to keep waiting because I'd rather pay that than the the silly price that the Ti version of the card will be.
