*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I'm highly skeptical of the supply glut of MRSP cards.
I just don't think the manufacturers want to sell them.
Hence why my TUF non-OC remains nowhere to be seen nearly 2 months from launch.

I am interested to see this weeks queue position movement change.
That is the only reason I've held off submitting my order cancellation form this week.

Hello everyone, just calling on all people who ordered the Gigabyte Eagle OC. My order date and time is as follows.
17/09/2020 15:13:57
My last queue update was for number 196.
I’m struggling to believe that this is possible as I’ve been trawling through this forum for going on 3hours now and I’ve seen people order (albeit different brands) at literally like weeks after me have either got their card or have a shorter queue position than me. Again I know they have different branded cards but I bought a gigabyte card knowing it was one of the biggest brands that was also selling a retail priced card so it’s surely okay to assume their manufacturing process would be faster? But back to my original point of ask, can anyone that ordered this card at a similar time confirm they have a similar queue position just to save my sanity
Me and my brother have had eagles for 13/16 days now. I was 36 in queue from a competitor and he just refreshed pages at 2pm on another - you can get them :)

Thought i would just let people who are reading this thread know that it cost me £11.93 to cancel my 3080 and a Ryzen 5 chip today!

I have been keeping a eye on this thread and i ordered the card and chip and a motherboard and some other small bits for a build im doing and i took the plunge and ordered knowing i would have to wait for the Gcard and CPU. I then wanted to make sure the motherboards BIOS was compatible with the Rzyen 5 straight out the box if not i would wait for a motherboard what is. I also asked what queue number i was for my 3080 as i had nothing telling me the position.

I tried to phone and ask but was in a queue for over 40 mins and give up and contacted overclockers via their webnotes.

The time i got a reply to the webnote the motherboard had already been delivered and the reply did not answer my question. He just stated that i can flash the motherboard with out putting a old CPU in it. He also did not respond to my request for the queue number i was after ordering the 3080.

I send another webnote pointing this out and get one back this morning telling me i never asked about the queue number for the 3080 and also still no answer on if the motherboard and chip was compatible out the box.

After reading everything in this thread i decided best thing to do was cancel the 2 orders i have left with overclockers and send the motherboard back. It really does feel like something not right is going on with this launch and i would be interested to know how much overclockers make in profit just from the interest they generate by holding everyone's cash.

I read in this thread someone saying the best way to cancel is via phone so i phoned today and was in a queue for over 50 mins and spent 10mins or more canceling the orders and sorting the RMA out for the motherboard.

TLDR:
A 1:04:30 call (what you only talk to someone for about 10 mins) Cost£11.93!

You need a new phone plan.

Just checked again , some more 3080s have had pre orders disabled, and some with prices shooting up again. Pre ordered ichill x4 on the 11th for 749.99 , now 829.99 .... come Ocuk what are you actually doing to be doing another 80 quid mark up!

I’ve gone from position 5 to 4 for the 3080 Xtreme so ONE has been shipped out. Generous from OCUK.
Exactly. Sometimes 'small shipment' means one, sometimes it means five. Sometimes it seemingly means none at all. I want to see some reassurance that they're receiving and shipping the same number as the other competitors who keep up-to-date numbers available for everyone to see.
