*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Gigabyte 3080 Xtreme queue seems to have dropped by 30 places yet zero mention on the Stock Deliveries thread?

PPl pulling out ? I read the reviews of it. Its a massive card and quiet but no real improvements on the other 3080... So great if you want a quiet card

Its also one of the most expensive at £929 !

It would appear they don't like talking to their customers directly.
I guess they did put out a statement, but like most official correspondence it was kind of vague and didn't give much away.

What a load of crap.
They haven't got any because they was selling the cards at the ASUS shop in the EU.

This is why I canceled 3090 Strix OC and got another brand on friday.

I actually had asus Tuf OC 3090 for £1500 which was arriving last friday but i cancelled it. Just couldn't justify the price !

Any news of the TUF non OC having more produced and sent to OCUK?

Nope. Come back next year. At least that’s what it looks like. ASUS are just too greedy of a company.

They will keep fulfilling those TUF OC orders. What they don’t realise is the damage they are doing to their brand by doing this. For the sake of £30 in the short term they will lose a lot more in the long term. As long as there are good alternatives I will likely be avoiding them for the foreseeable future personally.

Makes me laugh that they say they are continuing to produce the non oc cards at a similar rate as the oc ones. Also makes me laugh that the rep here disappeared. That rep should never have come in the first place. If you are going to join, you need to stick around when it matters like the gigabyte rep, not disappear and only pop in for a bit of marketing now and then.

You would think with all the extra profits they make from the ASUS tax they would spend a bit more on customer care. Nope.

I'll be avoiding ASUS as much as OCUK in the future. Not only the problems mentioned, but any posts about 3080's get deleted in their facebook group. I posted about the supply issues, had a whole bunch of comments agreeing and trying to share info and the admin deleted it because it's "not on the official post" (which is tucked away in a corner, hard to find, and ignored by anyone from ASUS). Then yesterday when I found those 60 Strix OC's for £700 each (all gone now), I shared the link in there, a couple of people bought them and then the thread was removed again. It's official ASUS reps removing these posts, it's the same deal on the ROG forums too apparently... I've always liked ASUS and had a lot of ASUS gear over the years but I won't touch them again now.

Anyone wanna buy an ASUS monitor? :P (I'm joking mods pls dont hurt me)

Bit of a poor blanket statement from Asus there.

Cancelled my pre-order with them for the non-TUF OC just due to the situation with next to none of them being delivered to OC. A few days later got extremely lucky and managed to grab a EVGA FTW3 elsewhere, should be here by Friday, which I'm ecstatic with. Good luck everyone.

Indont know if I could say its worth the wait with a vast sum of your money sitting in a companies bank with no eta whatsoever, but the card is incredible. Coming from a 1070, it's incredible.

Why is oc the only place i can pre order the glorious model o wireless, I'd rather s*** in my hands and clap than pre order here again

Exactly the same situation here. I suspect you may have got it from the same place as me.

I don't hold OC responsible, I had maybe 1.5k worth of orders with them and the rest arrived blistering fast and in full. They only seem to have relayed what information on they had when they had it and if that status from Asus is anything to go by then let's be honest its a bit **** really. Sure they made mistakes (Zotac OC not being offered to those in another queue) which they would hopefully learn from but the real cowboys are Nvidia and Asus as far as I'm concerned. For that I'm not buying another Asus product again.
