*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

TUF 3080 OC went from 180 to 173. Seven cancellations. I could be waiting till next November at this rate... Yet I will nevah surrendah... I have my card at original msrp and its cheaper than my 2080 super was. Its going to be a long wait but I am sure it will be worth it.
 
Is it really so much to ask to just keep customers updated daily even if it's the same old BS every day.

I do not believe for a minute that their suppliers haven't updated them so why can't they relay the message to us?!

A company who claim "We can almost guarantee we will receive allocation before anyone else".

It's clearly all a lie. Overclockers have failed miserably in simple customer service which you expect when you are paying hundreds of pounds for a product.

I for one have pre ordered an AMD 5900x and also an ASUS ROG STRIX 3080 from them.

Hey Asus are you actually making any Strix 3080 OC's? There are 1200 people waiting for this card with one supplier alone in the UK. In the last 2 weeks overclockers UK have received 0 stock. Many people gave up hope after months of waiting and cancelled their orders.

Not to mention the 1000's of people waiting for the other ASUS variants. I believe they have received 0 stock of the non-oc TUF, since launch again with 1000+ waiting.

I have always been a great fan of ASUS in terms of reliability and customer service and have in my 30 years of experience with computers always recommended you.

Have a read of overclockers 3080 forum and give you an idea of how annoyed former loyal customers are.

If others try it as well then maybe it will embarrass them into doing something to fix this.
A few 1000 polite messages explaining the situation we are all in atm is not great advertising. (NO BLATENT ABUSE PLEASE)

Is there a way of knowing exactly how many people are in a queue for this? I’m number 1205 for it

Its almost irrelevant at this point. The amount that ASUS are sending to OCUK is sweet FA. It’s going to be summer 21 before that queue goes down. May as well just hang on for the 4080
 
In the two months since I ordered the 3080 Asus TUF non-OC i have moved in the queue from 1612 to 968.
At first i thought it would be the October chaos and then in November it will stabilise and the queues will be cleared. But it seems that the queues are getting shorter by cancellations rather than by deliveries.
And i am a bit concern as Brexit looms on us for the 1st Jan and how that may affect future deliveries. When I ordered (and paid) this back in September i never imagined that I would be looking at receiving the 3080 in 2021.
At this pace they are going to announce the 3080Ti and we will have to move to a new queue and start all over...
 
Nvidia is a joke. Completely fkcud this up they have. This wasnt a release date. It was a damn preorder date
Its nothing to do with covid or logistics because i deal with suppliers in china on other electronic goods and everything is back to normal over there in terms of work and production. So OC sayings its a china issue is pathetic. It is nvidia making cards only once they know how many people want. However there just in time production chain is a complete and utter mess.

I think all of us should get off this forum and get onto twitter on there twitter page and basically spam demand our cards. This forum is a silent forum for them. Its pointless here.

Its 2 months. The ramping up of production should have happend in the first 2 weeks. 2 months on and still out of stock basically means we are not getting these cards anytime soon and its all thanks to Nvidia.

Why the heck would you make a release date knowing you wont be able to make cards. Did they expect to sell only 10 in every country. No they knew this would happen. They want people to buy the card at double the price which is the 3090 which costs them only slightly more in production costs but they charge double the amount in the market

This is a money grabbing excercise. The only thing we can do is cancel and get a radeon to hit nvidia hard on this. But we wont.

What I find most infuriating about all of this is oc lack of getting any shipment or as I've said before they are sitting on cards waiting for MSRP cancels . I can understand covid has played a part . I can also believe Nvidia was waiting to see what amd had lined up . But looking at a competitor theyv aparently had 540 3080 due this week I thought oc was so great and pally pally with Nvidia . Just one of the many lies

Hi I ordered non-OC Palit yesterday and I'm 233 in the queue. Im hoping if the pre-order is open they are expecting shipments in the next few weeks to clear the queue.
 
Bit the bullet and bought an ASUS tuf from an Ebay scalper to be delivered in time for Cyberpunk. 964th in the queue for it with no major updates from OC has been annoying to say the least
 
I can't lie that I'm disappointed in yesterday's abysmal numbers since I kept, against good judgement, the good faith that OCUK would be keeping steady with the deliveries - I had an ASUS graphics card in my basket, ready for purchase (not from OCUK), but I decided against it and stuck with my current pre-order expecting OCUK to follow the trend that would suggest an ETA in the next 2-3 weeks. Yesterday's numbers were pathetic and I am a fool for showing OCUK an ounce of trust.
