To people whining about Gigabyte shipments not coming in, there's two stuck in transit. Huge amounts of PPE equipment are currently being flooded into Europe. Shipping containers are literally having to be left on the ships to wait until the medical equipment is unloaded. I have this sourced from people in the business.
Chill your titays, they haven't disappeared they're just backlogged.
Wait, so they were shipped rather than air-freighted? Well it e
There's no point saying how many spaces I've moved for the Strix non-OC because I know there haven't been any in. Just a handful of cancellations. Beginning to think something fishy is going on. Nvidia, Asus and OCUK can't all be this incompetent. They knew Ampere would be a frenzy of demand at this price point, and they've kept promising that production would be ramping up and November would see loads more cards coming in but there's been no definitive word of any on the way. I wonder if there's something wrong with the inherent design and that higher end manufacturers are intentionally keeping quantities low because they don't want to have to handle large numbers of returns, or maybe they were so petrified of AMD kicking their arse on the benchmarks and everyone cancelling orders that they held off full scale production until the scores were in.
If they are incompetent then so is h
How do you know that Asus haven't made the cards already, and they aren't just stuck on a pallet somewhere, in the "Covid-queue"?Just posted this on Asus Facebook page.
Hey Asus are you actually making any Strix 3080 OC's? There are 1200 people waiting for this card with one supplier alone in the UK. In the last 2 weeks overclockers UK have received 0 stock. Many people gave up hope after months of waiting and cancelled their orders.
Not to mention the 1000's of people waiting for the other ASUS variants. I believe they have received 0 stock of the non-oc TUF, since launch again with 1000+ waiting.
I have always been a great fan of ASUS in terms of reliability and customer service and have in my 30 years of experience with computers always recommended you.
Have a read of overclockers 3080 forum and give you an idea of how annoyed former loyal customers are.

If others try it as well then maybe it will embarrass them into doing something to fix this.
A few 1000 polite messages explaining the situation we are all in atm is not great advertising. (NO BLATENT ABUSE PLEASE)
