Not sure if this was known anyway, and if anyone actually still cares, but it seems like the WD3 codes are being distributed by order send date and not order placed date. At least that is what I saw on the sales channel on OC's Discord this morning.

I have no hope of receiving the card before end of November anyway. Number 36 for a Trio X.
 
Received my Trinity OC on Saturday from a competitor. Glad this is over and hope to hell something starts to happen soon over here for the rest of you guys.

I know you cant really trust reviews but i do find it strange soon as someone posts on there about their bad experience with ocuk then there is a few good reviews (invited) post right after it. Defo seems like they don't want the trustpiolt page to be full of negative reviews lol

That best not be the case, not that I believe I'll get my card and code before 30th but it totally contradicts what they have previously stated which it was 100% based on order placed and that the first 1000 orders would receive their code.

Typical standard incompetence and miss communication by OC.

Regardless of your opinion of their comms which have at least existed on the stock arrival thread unlike certain other UK competitors, availability is not OC's fault.

Agreed there's no need to be rude to staff.

But there's no denying the communication is lacking when looking at competitors. Even looking at the AMD thread you can see there is greater staff interaction than with us.

*Edit* The whole cancel and go with someone else thing I've come to learn is frustrating too. OC said effectively 'you're best off queueing with us'. There are a number of us under 100 in a queue that have NO idea when to expect movement despite constantly being told it's getting better.

So our options are to wait high up here or go 500+ elsewhere and risk waiting even longer? It makes more sense for OC to try to keep customer money with them by just talking to us?

Oh yes definitely stating that stock arrival that others ain't ...the internet is a great thing you should really use it to the full potential. I'll help you out over last 2 weeks 720 3080's due to competitors not 'stating stock' . To oc 40 clearly giving good info .
 
Either way, it's not the customer service rep's fault they don't have this information. People should think before speaking.

I agree with you but they are the first line of contact. We can't talk to anyone of note or get through on the phones. I posted a complaint in a thread within this forum and it was locked and asked to take it to Order Queries. Which is conviniently hidden from public view and never got an answer!

I don't get all these OC loyalists defending them at all times, do you honestly think they care after they've taken your money based on this performance.
 
Well I will be waiting in line unless I manage to get one from somewhere else :( I've seen one retail has 3090's in stock but I dont want to spend that kind of money

This will however be the last time I use Overclockers as a supplier for my parts. I get that its not all their fault, but the lack of communications, telling people stock has gone missing when it has been sent to them and still taking pre orders when they knew they had ZERO CHANCE of filling them before Christmas is unforgivable
