*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

The main issue is the lack of info. Today at 9am I've seen several updates in other places regarding stocks received and allocated and in some cases even a table with number of pre orders and numbers received during the weekend, this promotes transparency.

Here we've got a weekly email and some random non regular forum posts and that's it. This is the issue and this is what's causing the many conspiracy theories.

Simply put a spreadsheet on your website with number of back orders for a specific brand and when a new batch is expected to arrive and start promoting transparency, because if I knew how many people were in front of me when I pre ordered I guarantee I wouldn't have done it, but since I read on OC website that as a one of the biggest resalers they're probably the most suited ones to guarantee a big volume of stock I ended up pre ordering. This is my only issue, not the lack of stock, but the poor communication and what I consider misleading statements.

I think Gibbo laying low atm. Too busy consolidating his forces in Mordor before he strikes out at the rest of Middle Earth.

this is all well and good until you realise they have no interest in transparency and are infact deliberately obfuscating information.

if there was the will to do it, it would be a trivial process.

Wow at so many rude comments. Just request a refund if not happy.

Regardless of your opinion of their comms which have at least existed on the stock arrival thread unlike certain other UK competitors, availability is not OC's fault.

Problem is the Stock update thread is updated once in a blue moon with fictional and vague descriptions of quantities that never match the stock that occasionally turns up, they do not even match what the Card Reps say is incoming or even been received.

I have reason to believe OCUK haven't received one shipment of TUF non-oc yet. I started at 15 in queue and am now 11th (I presume due to cancellations). I guess i'll never know if the card I ordered is discontinued or not, because they literally wont release information about it.

I sold my 2080ti in anticipation for the 3080, obviously I had no idea this was essentially a paper launch PLUS this is my first time buying EVGA, typical eh? Im 21st in the queue, really do not want to cancel it man. I check gibbos posts everyday but hes only mentioned EVGA stock once which was 10 days ago. Praying to the almighty jebus OC get some EVGA stock and get me sorted out. The gpu im using right now is an absolute insult to my system.

I don't use facebook but glad to see others are taking the time to let everyone know about their bad experience while trying to use ocuk. I have done it on trustpilot and seen the % of negative reviews going up also.

How do you know someone doens't use Facebook? They ******* tell you! ;)
Seriously though, they deserve the crap they're getting!

Does not matter what you bought. We are all in the same boat. Except maybe for Palit Rock Gamer.
