Rip you're going to be in for a long wait
43rd in the queue for the TUF OC model...hopefully not too much longer.
I'm 38th, we'll probably benefit from the same batch.....good luck for this coming week sir!
And what is the most mudane reason you've heard?
Not when the batches are 7 a piece or lessI'm 38th, we'll probably benefit from the same batch.....good luck for this coming week sir!
I'm happy to take that punt now. Suppose I don't have much choice but i have a feeling once stock becomes more readily available there will be plenty of vendors to choose from who don't adopt a preorder system. I've used overclockers for my last 3 GPU upgrades but their ability to source stock in this scarce market has prompted me to look elsewhere this time.My reasoning for getting on the tail end of a 2000+ queue for a Gigabyte Eagle instead of trying to get lucky and randomly picking up a card somewhere is that since Overclockers have sold 2000+ cards before even getting them its my hunch they'll be prioritised by suppliers over a high street store when cards become available. At least OC'ers can say to their suppliers we need X amount of cards because they're all already paid for.
Also, I'm more of an optimist than some people here. I think once manufacturing picks up it'll ramp up quickly. I don't believe in any of conspiracy theories going about. The most mundane reason I've heard for their being a logistical shortage of cards is probably the right one. Sales of the 2000 series cards shot up over lockdown and Nvidea had to keep production of those chips high over the Summer and it over ran into the production of 3080 chips. Thus less production bandwidth.
I ordered the strix oc 3080 on the 8th Oct. I haven't got an email update on queue position, would anyone have a clue roughly what position I would be? Would it be well over 500?

Yall ready for another week of disappoint!![]()
Here here! But i still want an MSI hand grenade.Come on MSI Ventus baby make it another good week
Turing - TSMC 12 nm (FinFET)As I just said in that earlier post - Sales of the 2000 series cards unexpectedly shot up late in the day over lockdown and Nvidea had to keep production of those chips high over the Summer and it over ran into the production of 3080 chips. Thus less production bandwidth.
0 updates with INNO3D probably none in the UK. its a the only thing missing from my new build longer this goes on the closer i am to trying for the AMD 6000
i’m really concerned as to why they’ve shipped (from what i’ve seen here) ZERO asus strix cards? both OC and non OC? like what’s that about
I don’t know what is going on with INNO3D to be honest, I thought I would receive my card in October but turns out we’re looking at November I’m so ****** off
