*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Those of you looking for an update on which cards have shipped since the queue emails went out on the 2nd might find it useful to look at the Unofficial Update I posted yesterday. Every shipment we're
Unfortunately since the spreadsheet just shows what people have filled into it there are a number of clearly dodgy values in there, plus one or two that have been verified to be OC's fault. The last two entries for the no-OC TUF look dodgy to me, both lower than the previous one. Latest entry I trust is 1972 at 19:40 on the 1st, which I think lines up pretty well with your numbers. You could add your own data to help outweigh the dodgy stuff.
I've added an entry with my position. So it should clarify some things out. It would be absolutely impossible to get a lower number than me considering that I've ordered 1st and on 2nd Oct I've received my queue position. I just hope that OCUK stopped swapping orders because that seems like extremely shady practice and it seems to be against their own pre-order promise.

no news from zotac huh....

zotac have been very quiet on things so overclockers but overclockers had a fair sized trinity oc and some 3090s on Thursday. As for the amp version all the AIB are having issues with there flagship cards from gigabyte to asus all have sent very little of there flagship cards.

As I just said in that earlier post - Sales of the 2000 series cards unexpectedly shot up late in the day over lockdown and Nvidea had to keep production of those chips high over the Summer and it over ran into the production of 3080 chips. Thus less production bandwidth.

What's that got to do with the price of fish?

2000 and 3000 are on a different process, they don't use the same manufacturing.

I think they overstated their preferred partner status with Nvidia. Seems they are just a small fish.
I mean, speaking as someone who has no idea, it does feel a bit unhelpful to have a great relationship with Nvidia when all cards are shipped by partners and distributors (unless they end up selling the FE, of course).

IM 430 something in the que for msi 3080 trio x but im not holding my breath that i will see it anytime this month though i really hope it comes before cyberpunk
and i havent had a que update from OCUK in about 3 weeks wtf like.

honestly I just hope at least one Trinity non-oc ships this month, I don't care if it still means I only get my card in december.

Pretty much, otherwise they'll end up with bunch od pcb, shrouds and boxes that will only take up space in the werehouse.
I'm pretty sure they can't use those pcbs for Navi, dunno about shrouds, packaging is pretty much exclusive for NV with branding etc.

I’ve just deleted a load of off-topic posts relating to COVID. Whilst I appreciate that the pandemic will factor in to the capability of some of the manufacturing facilities, this isn’t the thread to argue about the death rate etc.

Ordered my asus tuf oc late on the 18th first email position was 321 , second email I moved up to 305 ☹️ 15 places in two weeks classs or what ‍♂️

I hate to pee on your fire, I was 106 and moved down 7 places at the second email, meaning some of your 15 places were due to cancellations. Same card BTW.

A guy just posted on reddit that he got his Aorus 3080 Xtreme today in New Zealand (with picture proof) so we should be seeing a few of the cards getting shipped too this week.
