*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

You mean PR bs told by Jensen? They don't have any supply problem with theirs GA100 (tesla, quadro, virtualisation and generally pro segment) manufactured by TSMC 7nm which is huge, none with (after a initial at launch which lasted month) 2080ti (754mm2 12 TSMC FinFET) which is bigger than 3080.

Sorry still don't buy it. Apple, Qualcomm, Huawei didn't drop Samsung 3 years ago for TSMC without a reason.

I thought it came through quite clearly, but to make sure, I was being extremely tongue in cheek there. I was saying that the reason they won't have a supply issue with the 3070 is that they don't admit they've had one with the 3080. It'll be the same again, "not a supply problem. Its just that the demand outstrips our supply. Which totally isn't the definition of what a supply problem is".

I'll be shocked if the 3070 doesn't also have a catastrophic first month or two. The only question I have is what date AMD announces for their launch, and if they can manage to pull it off before Nvidia gets their stuff in order.

Which (I think) is much appreciated by those who bought an Asus card. If more companies, distributors, and retailers did this it would help cool down any heat they would get in the future. But, that's easier said than done from the looks of things.
Again , pay 50 more and get updates, at least you know when its coming. In almost a month OcUK managed to get and sell how many? 50 trios? At this rate ... I don't wanna continue the "we better wait for big Navi or 40* series" drama but it sounds like the right thing to do :)
The lack of information and interaction coming from MSI is simply huge.

So ive read the Gigaman posts, and im still confused. Im number 128 do you think ill see this card before christmas at this rate? How can they not mass produce this card? Think ive really backed the wrong horse in shop and in choice of card :(

If shipments are only coming in tiny amounts, then surely OC have shot themselves in the foot big time with queues in the thousands. Why didn’t they limit the preorders?! Now some of us have given away our money and will be waiting months, it’s not really fair

Hopefully we get an update about Zotac stuff this week 1st in line for the non OC but feels like I won't see it till next year haha
If they start getting only Tinity OC's in I'm going to be *** No disguised swearing ***, Already feels like a slap in the face that they took pre orders for the OC version days after we ordered the base model on launch and those people already have their cards. I remember the ETA on the Zotacs were 9th or 19th Oct and the other seller says they are expected 14th-16th so we can hope.

Why is it the guys at the front of the q moaning the most. Supply as we know is going to be crap this month but those guys will get their cards most likely first week in November. While the rest of us have to wait for supply to ramp up before we even get a whiff of a 3080.

man I’m betting the 1440p guys will mostly cancel and jump to the 3070 if the stock is there. 2080ti killed 1440p even 2080 killed 1440p and we know 3070 destroys the 2080 @ 1440p

It is and it's extremely ******* annoying, and frustrating. If this keeps up we probably won't get a card until the Super series comes out.

Is it more fair to say that anyone who didn't order on day 1 has to engage in an F5 fight to get a card instead of being able to join a queue?

People who ordered after you are having no impact on your wait time and anyone who doesn't want to wait can get a refund just by asking, what is unfair about that?

Just read the Inno3D announcement. I literally punched the air with joy.
Had not heard a single thing anywhere about the X2 regarding stock, or even pictures or video of it. X3 and X4 have had some media coverage but not much.
Such a relief to hear they're on their way.

Fingers crossed this is a good thing for everyone else. Lets hope for more Gibbo announcement days like these moving forwards.

sorry but I thought it would have been running down the street and dancing in the park my 3080 coming my 3080 coming not just a punch in the air :(

Damn there hasn't been a whiff of info on ASUS TUF (non-OC) since the 24th of September. Slightly depressing...

Not just here, but anywhere. ASUS just doesn't make them when they can stick an OC bios on the cards and sell them for more.

Remember that OCUK are sole UK importers for Inno3D, that means all stock for the UK goes to them, whereas all other suppliers have their stock split between other retailers.
