*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

If people are living like that then they shouldn't be buying a £700+ gpu anyway!
People want to own something nice. They work hard and are not paid enough. Credit is only option. If you are underpaid you still want to chill after work, gaming is a good hobby. While rich people partying on their yachts and drive lambo or go to maledives we are stucked.in front of PC.

If that's the case and OC know but are being silenced by and NDA then they can still find away to get that information accross.

gibbo just needs to say "in an OK amount of time we will get a DREAM amount of EVERYTHING" :p

As it is now with the silence it feels like they're battening down the hatches ready for more onslaught when november comes and goes. I hope im wrong tbh

As said, he did kind of do that but he cannot make it obvious at all. If I were him, I wouldn’t risk it doing that and the NDA would probably be extremely tight

So we can now come to the conclusion that OC don't care and that the amounts linked to descriptions are as follows:

Very Small 1-3 cards
Small 1-10 cards
OK 1-13 cards
Large 13-50 cards
Very large 50-60 cards
Dream (this is OC we would never get more than 60 cards)

I hope things improve but I'm glad I got myself a 1660 to get me past this difficult time.

It's not showing for some reason. Can you send it as a PM, please. It'd be appreciated.

So, no 3080 Tufs (OC/Non OC) have been sent out in nearly a week now is that right? At this rate where I am in the queue I won't get mine until 2022
No OC in a week (last OCs were shipped october 8th). No non-OC since just after launch (3-4 weeks). OCUK are not just holding back on info they're outright defensive about it.

Ok but you didn't mention credit in your original post...

Exactly this, I can quite easily afford these things, but 12 months 0% interest still has its placed and that money available to one at the time can be used elsewhere.

Let's not kid ourselves, as far as hobbies go, this stuff is fairly tame financially speaking.
That's my way, I don't think finance is a bad choice as long as its paid off before the nasties appear. I bought mine on the 18th September 10.10 am and 300 in Q. I'm not blaming OC on my "lifestyle choice" but as I said, I don't believe you can cancel this.... Or its not easy to do so. This isn't aimed at you mate.... ^^^^

Once again vague pathetic information from Gibbo. Why when others are giving numbers can ocuk not do this. Please stop with the "ok, small, very small" others are saying how many they have ordered and how many came in why can you not.

How else will they hide what's going in prebuilds? Happened with the strix.. a very small and a small amount came to 12. Pathetic really.

We already think that we know they aren't allowed to. Like you we've seen other places giving figures. We're not going to get that here so its pointless asking lmao. Just strap in and enjoy the ride. This thread in one window and competitors in every other window with your f5 finger at the ready :P

you shouldn't judge others like that. Some people spend fortunes on smoking, drinking, going out, gambling etc etc. Somebody who does none of that could quite easily afford a gpu id imagine. With the wait priorites may change. Some people might have been down for gpu and ps5 but when the ps5 comes along might decide the gpu cash is better spent elsewhere. Lots of ifs, buts and maybes :P - If the option is there to cancel then the money is easily allocated elsewhere that might become slightly more important coming up to xmas :)

For people that think credit is bad. Do you have a mortgage or car finance or even a store card? I bet most people have some form of credit even if they don't consider it credit. Each to their own.

The comments regarding finance in this thread should be merely to point out the difficulties once tied in of cancelling a gpu. How/why people use finance is nobody's concern but theirs :)

Very little change from my point....high in the queue and no signs of any Non-OC TUF appearing.

I would quote the post, but I really can't be bothered diving back through this thread. It's been said a couple of times now that maybe 'OC are keeping pre-orders open to enhance their buying power' or some such claptrap to that effect....

Absolute load of horse faeces! Because the existing pre-order list appears to have given OC a huge amount of clout with Nvidia, with the huge bountiful supplies coming in...oh, wait.

Other retailers in the UK have somehow laid hands on cards in greater quantities, and in some cases, obtained cards that no-one here has even seen yet!

So stop with the pre-order excusing....it's a load of brown stuff. As is the 'preferred Nvidia partner' status that OC have waved around...seems to be less partner, more a far distant and easily ignored step-cousin, probably red-headed...(no offence intended to our flame haired forum friends :P)
