Just letting u know they have ran out of codes pretty sure they said they had about a 1000 codes soo they have sent over 1000 cards to customer they have told me errrm

That danish retailer who detailed exact numbers of cards because they where sick of all the phone calls and questions. If you look they have a bunch of 3080 TUF OC coming so hopefully that means ocuk will be getting some too. Gamersnexus spoke about it in last video too. I guess the company had enough of all the questions and they just give exact numbers now. Strange if their is a NDA they are doing it.
If you look all the ASUS cards incoming are all OC non for the OC strix or TUF. Glad I got the TUF OC feel bad for anyone wanting a non OC. It really looks like they aren't making them.

Distributors will not talk to end customers. I work for a distributor (not in graphics cards) and we always refuse to talk to the end customer. We do not know the specific situation, we do not know the end customers position in any que, we will not divulge the resellers position in any que for stock allocation .I can tell you now there are massive shortages for more than graphics cards and distributors do not have visibility on deliveries, I have some products ordered months ago and some resellers with orders placed on my company in March and I still do not have an ETA on when I will see that stock. The end customers relationship is completely with the reseller they are purchasing from, do not expect a distributor to talk to you, or divulge information on shipments - they probably don't know either.
To add to the "how many Trios shipped" mystery, I just talked to OCUK follow up about my personal queue number oddities (and that I got a queue update despite they saying two weeks ago they'd remove me and handle me manually), and since I'm waiting on a Trio they checked how many arrived/shipped yesterday. Answer was 10. So, on the line between small and very small, but from what we are seeing here 12th got shipped instead of 5th, and the early queue only shrank by 6 or 7?
Its really getting harder to keep the tone of optimisum I've been trying for (this topic is already wall to wall complaints, I'm trying not to make it worse), since the answers, looking through even the most rose tinited glasses, more and more seem to only be explained by incompetence or delibrate unfairness.
Phone queue was only 5 minutes so if someone (ideally @SecretLife, since he was 5th) wants to ask for answers now would be a good time.

I'm in the queue for tuf OC and have only moved up one place in the queue I the past two weeks, so I'm not even sure they're coming in

They have not sent out 1000 cards. It's 1000 orders.
Exactly as @RobWaudby has said. Keep us informed on this and provide screenshots etc.
I would like to know what's going on here. I think Rob is near the front and was expecting it today. I'm quite far back, but would like to know if these shipments and queue positions are accurate.

Honestly surprise to see you with that outlook, I was trying to stay positive too and largely remained so. Some plausible explanations for how queue oddities could occur without messups but I'll take your word for it. Doesn't sound good.
I started out in position 101, at 94 now. I honestly had hopes of getting the card by end of October - not happening by the looks of it.
As I understand it you will be lucky if you get it in November.

This is how I do it honestly. I have something built into me that I'd sooner pay something off a little each month that won't notice/miss on 0% interest as opposed to pulling out £900 from one of my bank accounts in one fell swoop. My Gf is literally the polar opposite and I find it odd.
If my credit card gives me 28months interest free (or other interest fee payments like a year etc) then I'd use that over just straight up losing the money there and then. I also find this allows me to buy what I want as I like upgrading tech regularly and I'm never short of money because I'll always clear stuff then role the next expensive thing on a new 0%.
Won't ever use credit if its not 0% though. People often assume using credit to pay means your can't afford it. Quite the opposite in my case tbh.
It's getting hard to see it any other way tbh and without any answers coming from OC what are people to think?
When we are told a "small" amount I have to say I was expecting more. I moved down from position 29 to 23 which IMO is a joke.
I'm hoping we all hear something from OC today they need to give us an answer to why position 12 got a despatch email and not someone in a lower queue position.
